About 7 years ago I tried to convince the then fiancé (now wife) that we should be buying in Footscray, it’s in the up and up and we can get a bargain/make a mint in resale... she was sceptical. I organised a few viewings for a Sat morning to convince her... got there nice and early and wanted to show her around the area and see how eclectic and diverse it was, wandered up and down Barkly st and surrounds for around an hour.. by the time we made it back to the car to head off to the first viewing she was in tears! “Don’t make me live here, I’m too pretty for this place!” I may have suggested she is ok but don’t get ahead of yourself... was a funny morning and we’ve never been back.

I didn’t think he was leaving at the time, I didn’t think we’d be in the frame to pick up Harely let alone get him on the park in year 1... who knows but you’d lean towards it being unlikely to happen for a number of reasons already raised in the thread. Would he be a positive or negative acquisition for our young playing group or could or leaders help lead him on and off the field? At his best it’s a no brainer but has many chances to hurt long term. Whatever happens, good luck Jesse.

Yes that is fair enough. I’m so nervous for this one, the Crows/north were ones we needed to win and did so handily. Pies win was pretty ho-hum for mine, they were so depleted, this is the big test indeed. Our backline has looked really good but Naughton (May takes him) is a very good player who will be a star in the not too distant future. Bruce has been terrible this season but has the Ben’s (Kingsley’s) about him. Doggies love multiple goal kickers from the smalls and mids. The way they play worries me because they have the inside mids to give us some trouble at the clearance along with the ability to spread very fast. If Bont moves fwd that could cause issues too. We need our mids to be really on top and the D to keep growing as a unit we’ve seen the last 3 weeks.

Can we please stop calling him some jovial nickname, his name is Damian and he’s a f log of the highest order. Trying to tear someone down because they expressed an opinion and doing so because that person showed emotion in a stressful scenario after years of inner turmoil because of his knees. 90% of coaches/clubs would be on the front foot saying Lynch’s actions are not on.... not the Tigers.

Yea I agree, Tmac looked the closest he’s been all season last week. I think it would be an interesting experiment with BP up forward but maybe not the season/current ladder position to be doing so.

Phheeew, how quickly Pruessy has become indispensable*. * until Max is fit but you may think about Pruess staying on and Tmac having a rest.

He's 24 and played 79 games!!!! His best years are ahead and hopefully all going to be at the Dees!

It’s a toss up but at the very least I think you’ve got to give him the chance to get to 300, IF list sizes don’t change and he is happy on close “minimum” wage. There are plenty of examples either way where it’s been fine to get a player to a milestone or not.
