Not sure Pruess is that kind of player, when was his last AFL game? I just don’t think he’s quite ready to ruck at the top level after injury. He’s been a project since he got to the club.

It was noted in the most recent scratch match thread Pruess played and "dominated" the ruck but it he was back from injury. Not sure he has the miles in the legs as yet. Grundy around the ground is the worry against a TMac or Jackson, if we can break even it goes a long way for us.

While he is a bloody good player I'd rather a mid who has skills or a fwd who can kick straight/lots of goals. Will be interesting to see how covid affects free agents and clubs spend.

It would be more exciting that the game, the players are just gassed and can hardly move, Ice is really rough so skills are down.

The AFL is lucky it has access to so many grounds while in hubs. The NHL (Ice Hockey) have gone into 2 hubs, 1 venue in each hub, to finish off there season. 6 games a day, 3 in each hub at the same venue. Zero positive teams in the hubs. Has been great so far, with a "play in round" for some teams to get into the playoffs. A great new concept. Big wrinkle today, Blue Jackets vs Lightning in game 1 of there first playoff series. (its best of 7 games series). During the regular season if it is tied at the end of regulation it goes into a 3 on 3 OT, first goal wins for 5 mins each way, then into a 5 person shootout if still no winner. In the play offs it goes back to Overtime with the first goal wins.... today's first game in the Toronto hub finished 2-2 after regulation and has gone into the 4th overtime period.... its a disaster for the other 2 games to be played after it. Between each game they need 88 mins to fix the ice. The last game won't start until after midnight lol!!!

Do other teams also “leave” Viney and put the harder work into Oli and Trac knowing Viney's disposal is not great? Brayshaw is more damaging by hand but especially by foot, has a much longer leg so to speak. It’s an interesting debate, for mine I’d like to see them try more Gus in the guts and Viney play the VnB role to see how that works. With Viney in the middle when Gus etc need a rest.
