Not for mine, he played in the fwd line on the weekend (happy to be corrected Drunkn) but he is a rookie and not played an AFL game. Doesn't make a lot of sense, we can get caught up in what might be (ie a player we have never seen before that might be some diamond in the rough) but players take time to develop. OMc is developing, he has a way to go I think we all agree but Dec hasn't shown anything at AFL level. Bit of a long bow for mind Jnr.

Does he? Wouldn't it be the LTI list as he was elevated to the senior list. Then another rookie may get elevated if the club sees the benefit, and we have cap space.

Someone mentioned it in another thread and On The Couch highlighted it as well. Goody had 7 players sitting in defence at a centre bounce, then 8 players and then 9 players sitting in our defensive 50 at another centre bounce. With the 9 all of these Numbers straming fwd, quick long ball into our fwd 50 which Hoges marked over the back uncontested. Interesting tactic and to see how long it lasts before coaches work it out.

Some times he does, sometimes he doesn't or the Reiwoldt over the back goal where OMc left Roo to spoil but missed everything. Nice intent, not a great out come. As others have said his pace looks just a bit off, and for mine he really slows down when he has ball in hand. He won't be dropped, unless he does have a real stinker as he is the future.

One thing we do need to work on is not having multiple talls all flying for the one mark. Happens way to often, more often than not we spoil each other and then don't have players at the fall of the ball. There was one really glaring example were Hoges, Gawn and someone else all went at the one ball in a pocket. A bit of voice and Maxy or Hoges snaffle it.

Maybe Watts needs to try rope a dope today.
