Poita would you play Oli or Gus off half back or back pocket ahead of Milky? I wouldn't, but that's just me.
-
Firstly if they are 100% then yes to both Gus and Clarrie. Was also going to say Bernie is one for mine who may be making way as the year moves on if he doesn't improve on his end of 2016 form. This stage Kent unlikely for rnd 1, Tyson coming off knee issues and Salem really needs to prove himself in the preseason comp. So refreshing to have competition for spots.

Ha!! No more walking straight into the bar to the front of the queue!

It looks like a wind tunnel but so is Willy and Sandy can be at times. Might be interesting to hear the thoughts of someone like Drunkn on what players think of the place? Hasn't harmed 2 on the current list from developing.

Hopefully bodes well for him and the team overall. Rewatched part of the Hawks Game we won last year this week. He had some really good moments in games but needs it to consistent. Can take a hanger.
-
Doesn't really want it from what I've seen, but who knows if he can get a full preseason into him it might just happen.

Training in the heat is amazing for footy players... "Brought to you by the NT Government"

Agree. Viney, we love for all the hard in and under and gut running. Clarrie does the same but could be even better at the in and under and his dish offs are sublime. Plus Clarrie is a much better kick, we just haven't seen enough of it.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - TIM SMITH
Cards13 replied to dazzledavey36's topic in Melbourne Demons
Best of lucky Smithy. This part really stood out to me from the link above... "Smith said the fact that he and fellow rookie Declan Keilty was drafted from Melbourne’s VFL aligned side was a great example of how the ‘one club’ mentality had prospered. And he was proud to become somewhat of a poster boy for fellow draft prospects eager to make the transfer from Casey to Melbourne. “I’m absolutely rapt for Decs and myself,” he said. “It’s unbelievable and it couldn’t have been a better outcome for both of us and Casey. The alignment this year was super strong and probably the strongest it’s ever been in my time at the club. “I think for guys coming into Casey – it’s going to be a real focal point. There is a chance [that you can get drafted and play for Melbourne]. There is light at the end of the tunnel for guys that dig in and potentially be given an opportunity at AFL level.” -
Yup, as always dazz on the ball.

The great man loved The Vineyard in St Killy as well. He was in on a "few" occasions and would have a few of the boys along too. The bouncey walk. Liked this bit: “Being removed from the club, I’ve extended an olive branch for any of the guys to contact me or I might pop down occasionally, if they want me to add a different voice from their normal voices coming through their development and line coaches."

Was not being serious... But Ta.

Can't wait to hear how quick Trenners is in a warm climate.

Paxi, disappointing for the Casey Dee supporters but the comment on state of the ground? Some of the Casey followers noted last year the ground was in an average way. No improvement or refurb work being done before season starts? Cheers

Well now you tell me! Thanks for the advice, will try that next time.

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Cards13 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
Great to see, now, two of our own in shot. -
I was going to do the same thing but no parking out me off so I bought online and guessed sizes. Came out ok but does out people off. Binny there is parking at Fed it is $$$ if you are just making that trip. It is a tough one as I'm sure the club has and constantly looks at having better visible/access to a shop but costs wouldn't stack up.

RECRUITS WHO WILL HAVE THE MOST IMPACT IN 2017
Cards13 replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
What a way to really make Jordan Jewis, co-captain of the greatest club in the world. Help lead us to greatness again. The next 3 years will show what he is made of and remind a bucketload of Hawks fans how good this guy is as a player. -
Don't forget Stinger "falling" through the plate glass window. He was never the same player and was developing into a gun.
-
Majority of players look really lean and strong. Chunk looks a little leaner but the likes of Brayshaw are our future and if they can maintain the rage over a career things look so positive. ps thanks to 3, 6 for the continued great pics.

Must have been due to all of this years clash jumpers already selling out!

Training - Wednesday 11 January, 2017
Cards13 replied to Straight Sets Simon's topic in Melbourne Demons
God I love the Lewis trade. Demand success, every session, every game. If someone is falling short pull them up on it, the "right" way for that person of course. Brilliant! About [censored] time too.
