What are his thoughts on Bartlett as head of the board? People on here have denigrated Bartlett, it would be good to hear PJ thoughts on him and the board as an overall compared to his time at Ess. Speaking of them, I know this is a Dees podcast but it would be amazing to hear PJ thoughts on the Ess drug scandal. Does he think it was right for the players to be punished under the WADA code? Did the club take enough responsibility for it? Are all clubs now fully onboard the WADA code? What does he he think of the ridiculous nature of the trade period now days? Can he give us and understanding of what kind of preparation/time goes into the end of season delist/trade/draft period? How many people at the club are involved? How often during the season do they meet to discuss the salary cap, players staying, players maybe coming in? Is there 1 thing he is most proud of from his time at Melb? Is he a Demon for life now??? Lota of qs but would be good to get a real sense of some of the inner workings of this stuff, not the same old “what was the club like when you arrived? “Stuffed”” type questions. PS awesome get gents!!!

They also just want a story out every day... and especially at trade time, this is there Melbourne cup week!! They only need to “verify” it from a source or a contact at Freo for them to run with it.

It’s like a few builder mates I have, they get asked to quote for a job and don’t really want to do the job for different reason’s. So they will over quite by 30% or more on the usual rate, if the client says yes... happy days but not a job they were chasing.
