Trying to find a pub with good atmosphere in the Macedon Ranges area. I have 2 kids under 3 and want no distractions (besides buying beer) during the game.

Couple of points: The media have lauded the Dees and how they have been so open to the media, kudos to the club. I do hope Nicholls is wearing a hat on Sat, would hate for him to get sunburn or sunstroke.

One thing I’ve been thinking about is the potential for the club to start using signals from the bench to players or from player to player. Baseball use signals, College Football use signals and card schemes, seems like a no brainer for reduction in runners but something to think about for stadiums like Burswood (and I’m sure new stadiums will look to see how they can have a similar noise). Possibly not for this weekend but should well and truely be in the future thinking to get an advantage.

Sorry to hear Philthy. I think I’ll be a bit in between of beyond happiness joy and tears. The old man was a mad Dees man, our last game together was the 2000 grand final before cancer got him in Jan 01. He’s been top of my thoughts the last 4 weeks in particular.

He has a sore shoulder, both now with similar issue. Should be fine for last 2 games.

@Dee Zephyr we were obviously not far from each other, Hibbs was just not going to be beaten to that ball. He saw the situation, put his head down and just bolted as hard as he could to put point Gunston. He was immense!

Shiel kicking is terrible.

Thought similar. Shiel was worse. The non calls not going to the orange abominations are glaring for mine.

Pies getting arm chair ride with umps, that Shiel tackle non call was the worst I’ve seen all season. I just hope whoever wins they give Tigs a tough game. Lots of want to be tough guys on both sides, Green v Adams would be a fun one to watch.

How many will DJ get for the swinging arm? Great effort by the Casey boys, I watched the middle part of the game but had to go player with the kids, the umpiring was terrible. Glad to see we came over the top after the fl ogs got a little away.
