Might tempt the giants about kelly If they are nervous about him leaving.
I think that’s the tack we might want to take.

Didn’t expect that.
Why??
The article says that his father passed away recently and he’s been running the business from a distance. Moving to NSW might help.

SM, KK or both?

He's tiny. Moves a bit like Switkowski who did well for Freo in the last round of the year.
At 175cm he towers over Spargo & JKH.
Has been compared to Dayne Zorko.

Carlton has delisted Aaron Mullett and Cameron O’Shea along with rookies Jesse Glass-McCasker and Matthew Shaw.

The game is for charity which is what makes it worthwhile but otherwise its a novelty to watch fat blokes running around on a footy field and listening to bad commentary.
Basically, it's cringeworthy but for a good cause.

Jay Clark reports that “former Melbourne coach Paul Roos has backed Simon Goodwin to earn a certain contract extension in the off-season.”

It seems that the quest for talls is on again in earnest across the board.
Ruck merry-go-round set to spin again
We need someone to give Max a chop out and the two kids in the VFL are not exactly standing up as yet. Do we keep them (or one) and try elsewhere?

Could we put out an all points bulletin to locate Chris from Camberwell and invite him as a guest on the Demonland Podcast.
It would be riveting!!!

Darling ruled out so they don’t have Naitanui, Gaff and their two key forwards.
If we can find a way to lose to WCE in that situation then Port Adelaide or North Melbourne deserve to be in the finals ahead of us.
End of story.

No, no, not Schmitthouse!!!

I was watching The Block tonight and I now understand the fascination with the Gatwick.
Magnificent!

I know we are taking things one game at a time but given that 3 out of our last 4 games are to be played at the MCG (and hopefully a few more after that at the same venue), I think we need to use this game to reassert our influence on our home soil. We did that a bit against the Bullies at our last outing but now it's time to take control of that ground and make it a fortress against any other club that enters.

In Hannan
Out Melksham

add melksham to this list, apparently, with a hamstring
What sort of credibility does the MFC have with reference to these injury lists?
Melksham is reported to have strained the hammy during the second quarter of Saturday night's game so they clearly knew when they published this week's list that he was injured ... but didn't report it until today.

Is it too much to expect a win to WCE and upsets in the other two games today?

If we could bring in Corey Wagner, he’d get a game this week, I reckon.
Pity he’s not on our list.

I wish we tried JKH as small lock down defender, Neville backup / successor. He is clean, competitive, agile and a neat kick. It's his best chance of making it at AFL level. I know we're trying Dion there with some success.
I liked Machaya, clean and competitive.
Flash Gordon - oh boy - horrible.
JKH is 173cm compared to Nev who stands at 180cm. The height difference might not sound much but at the highest level, it might be too much.

I’d like to see us emulate our run of 6 in a row - that should do the trick.

6. Clayton Oliver5. Max Gawn4. Christian Petracca3. Angus Brayshaw2. Jesse Hogan1. Bayley Fritsch

Casey had 69 inside 50s to 30 and won by 77 points.
On Friday night Melbourne had 68 inside 50s to 39 and lost by 10 points. When Melbourne was down on its knees in the early part of this decade these figures by teams opposed to us would result in 100-point defeats. How is this possible?-

Not really recommended for a highly priced player aged 22 with lots of years in front of him.

Should have used it on Brayshaw, freo must laugh everyday about that trade
Gold Coast coach Stuart Dew says Lachie Weller trade a good move for Suns
So Weller has played just one game this year for the Suns.
What happened?
Go and get Gaff!

We should also have a crack at getting Andrew Brayshaw across and giving them adjoining lockers.
