Good to see Lever is almost set for a return, there’s no point in rushing him so I would be giving him half a game at the VFL reserves then up his game time in VFLseniors and assess if match fitness wise when he’s ready.
Pruess is a chance, but I’m not sure if the Suns are a team we would bring him in for.
The VFL hasn’t had a “reserves” competition since dumping the Development League at the end of 2017.

Pumped!

It’s becoming a common problem with footballers these days.
Hopefully, he’ll come good.

Is the Casey ruckman playing?
-
Just thinking about it. A long drive to Shep. Twenty bucks admission to watch a game played in close to 40 degree heat.
Alternative - go to the beach.
Tough decision.

And none of our players did a Mumford. Has he been reported for that?
Mumford is already due to miss two games because of a club-imposed suspension for an off-field incident.
This is an opportunity for the MRP to show there’s no place for thuggery - 3 weeks.

I think I’ve been watching too much AFLW.
The standard is marginally better.

Another conspiracy theory would be the desire on the part of the AFL to ensure the participation of the traditionally powerful clubs in Carlton and Collingwood in the finals series. The Blues are on top and the Pies have been well beaten but could still make it if they start winning some games in their weak comp.
Surely, the organisers could have foreseen that the stronger sides were in one group?

Conversely, The Daily Planet (an award winning brothel in Elsternwick Victoria) is located in Horne St.
The freehold land on which the Daily Planet is located was sold last year. I have a feeling that the award winning brothel is soon going to go the way of the Gatwick.

how is Elwood, i will be back soon
No, never been to Oktoberfest before.
Elwood is very pleasant these days, especially since the beach is so handy to home and best from this time of day till sunset.

Jake Melksham wasn't there as he returned to Melbourne to attend to a "personal matter" apparently.
A poster on Demonland wrote recently that he and his wife are expecting.

So according to his manager, it wasn’t cocaine (snort, snort ?).
Hope Port Adelaide believes that and allows him to play against us in round 1.

Missed last week due to “soreness” and misses again this week.
Translation: at Melbourne this means a likely 4 - 6 weeks if he can avoid surgery to overcome the “soreness”
