Farewell Charlie Spargo
I don’t understand it when people talk about Spargo’s high footy IQ. Doesn’t get enough of the ball to have said IQ

What role did Alan Richardson play?
Can he be employed with the same wage outside of the football department? Therefore freeing up the soft cap, yes/no?

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
I think it is over stating the affect of training at Casey has by saying we can’t recruit players and players are leaving as a result. It’s not ideal and needs to be addressed, but we don’t have players leaving the club.

Training Ground?
I hear Linen House is vacant in Seaford.

When will Melbourne break these embarrassing records?
Can we name a new number. We all hate and use 186. Let’s add 46 to out MFCSS vernacular

How you doing?
I’m setting up a group that exists of men dancing naked around a bomb fire with sage sticks chanting Satanic verses at the MCG. Wanna join my group? I’m fine. 🧐🤨🥴

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The soft cap is about equalisation. It’s not about restricting clubs. AFL policies can be restrictive and should allow leniency when clubs are under performing.

St Kilda three the 💩💩💩 about training at Seaford and they went back to Moorabbin. Not sure if that had such a big impact. The Casey issue is an inconvenience, not sure it has too much of an affect

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
I like it. Brings a new training facility with him at Revs on Chapel.

Simon Goodwin respect thread.
My heart breaks, whilst my head says its the right decision. I have utmost respect to Goody. Thank you, you will be forever in my heart! ❤️

Using unrelated data is also misleading. My point/question was about Clarry’s ability to impact defensively outside of the contest with his pace and his ability to adjust to current game styles..

The List Manager Tim Lamb
My preference would be Lever to another club and Adam’s or Derkson replacing him. We need to rebuild in the next two years,

Farewell Judd McVee
My concern here is in a year when our young talent and commitment is more important as it is clear our premier window is closed, the club is not making any announcements. Particularly after the win this weekend. I’m hopeful it’s announced in the next two days on slower news days. Without an announcement this weekend, it’s more likely he has not signed and he is open to moving elsewhere. Last year’s announcements were on the back of we can bounce back as contenders.

Farewell Judd McVee
Regardless of any talk on here from GW or journo’s, I’m concerned. The facts are the club is very quiet with any positive news of a signing. The clubs used contract signings last year as a tool for harbour hope and direction. The silence here is deafening.

PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Internet, informal) An anonymous account (typically on a social mediawebsite) used (temporarily) for activities that the user does not desire to have tied to their main account Just in case I was not clear in my previous post. P.s, I’m being somewhat, kinda jovial

Ghost who walks, seems to be your biggest cheer leader. Your ghost/shadow so to speak.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
What are Clarry’s defensive stats outside the contest? Stats, and I’ll keep saying it, are, or can be misleading. In the contest, he will tackle, pressure and scrummage. On the outside, he is slow. The game is all about skill, fast ball movement and pressure acts. Contested ball is no longer the yard stick to our game

Or, possibly sage, incense and dancing around a fire naked howling at the moon. A cleansing as such.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Maybe I am a sceptic Bub, but I am visualising a lot of talk about learnings, talk about love, playing the Melbourne way and being committed to an unknown cause.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Maybe the answer to Clarry’s value is complimenting him with other midfielders around him. He is slow, does not provide a lot of defensive value, but he is a contested ball getting beast. The other factor is his work rate off field.

I agree Nightmare. My only concern with Clarry is, can he play in a different position? His value as a midfielder has not been on display consistently for 18 months and others can provide a better value. I would be happy with Trac playing the high half forward role if he can’t reproduced his confidence as a full time midfielder.

PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Humour is subjective GW. What you find funny, or offensive, others don’t. Btw, do you have a burner account on DL?

Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Culley had some presence out on field today. He was in defence, the middle and forward. Not bad for a man who was not on an AFL list until very late and playing in a much poorer league leading up to today
-
PREGAME: Rd 22 vs Western Bulldogs
Well that cancels out half the team. Not sure we can field a team in the next few weeks

POSTGAME: Rd 21 vs West Coast
Not sure if Langford was playing deep forward at times, but he had a few moments he should have marked the ball in the goal square. I was surprised to see his overhead marking being so poor. He could have had 5 goals today.
