Time to go Goody?
I agree Billy, but it is the lessor of two evils. I like plan A better. Goodwin and Richardson moved out.

Trade Targets
Good post Trav. We need to trade in some players to move out others IMO. By moving out I mean moving down to Casey playing at the fringes and as back up. Spargo and Sparrow are two that come to mind. Having Culley, Hendo, Johnson, Fullarton at the fringes has made our list weak. It has forced the team into playing the young ones to early such as Kolt.

Umpiring standard
Every game of football I watch is determined/influenced by the umpiring. It’s why I rarely watch games other than the Dee’s now days. A non call is better than a call when it’s a dubious decision. This should be the mantra for the umpires.

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Out - Goodwin In - Enright Can we swap them in the coaches box? Seriously In - Howes (play as a half forward) Petty (back) Out - May (concussion). Kolt (confidence is shot and not ready for AFL). Seeeeesh that was hard. Our list runs thin.

Time to go Goody?
I hoping the words of ‘fully backs’ are the kiss of death Dazzle. Surely the club is looking around for another coach…. Or, at least have a plan B such as bringing in an assistant coach for a succession plan in 2027.

Time to start a rebuild?
I agree on Corey Enright RTG. I’m hearing good things about him coming from St Kilda fans and I think he is gettable. I’d pair him up with Bartel who is in demand and would be harder to convince. One of Clarry or Trac needs to be moved on and Clarry has more trade value. Trac provides more leadership with his training standards and the club needs to keep such leaders to drive improvement for our next tilt to finals. The team also needs players who can play in different positions and Clarry does not provide much, other than being a midfielder. My concern is Clarry will get back to his best at another club. I am sick of our forward line playing defensive half forwards but we need at least one. Viney can play this role. This means Spargo and Spaz either play at Casey as back up and depth, or if we can get good value in trade, trade them. The club needs to focus on recruiting fast attacking midfielders and small forwards who have smarts and pace. Prasad is a year too young unfortunately and he will come to us in 2027. With Prasad coming our way, at least we can play around with next year’s draft picks, focus on points and trade out the higher picks to bring in players this year.

GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Salem runs on a treadmill. He would be eaten alive in the middle. He is good with ball in hand, but he can no longer run faster than a two year old.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
I agree, our playing stocks are limited therefore Spargs should be getting games, but I hope the club recruits small forwards who are more threatening in the attacking and defensive aspect of playing forward. Charlie is at 0.6 goals and 0.62 goal assists per game in his career. His possession average is 11 disposals per game. These stats are on the lower level of average, bordering on poor. His kicking skills are over rated on Demonland given he averages 6 kicks per game and struggles to kick 40 meters. He is a smart footballer and knows how to position himself on field, but he is not overly athletic and has average speed. Other than playing half forward or wing he is limited to be played in other positions. This is not a personal attack in Spargo, just my view on his ability at AFL level.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Spargo has some great attributes, but he has some poor/average ones as well. Getting his hands on the ball and scoreboard impact, he is on the poor scale. As you said he is a half forward. Forwards kick goals and have a higher percentage of goal assists.

PREGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
I would not say Spargo was very good for Casey last week. 16 disposals for an experienced AFL player in a lower league is, at best good. I’d say he was ok.

Can we talk about Kolt?
Point missed… 🤔

Where is Fritta going
If this is to occur, does this mean we get our first round pick back?
