Gnome gone!
Maybe your gnome should change teams. He/she/they/them/ze/hir/ey.......etc. might wanna go with Collingwood. More chance of success with a team who can boast having the AFL as their submissive lil b!ttchh

What is wrong with Kayo?
Thanks so much all. I never knew there was the jump to live option. And now it’s working perfectly.

What is wrong with Kayo?
I’ve got three friends who have the same length delay. One of them is Mrs Fritta. She contacted Kayo and all they did was to tell her how to go about unsubscribing. How’s that for customer service, huh 🙄

What is wrong with Kayo?
I do watch other games but the delay is okay because I’m not so invested in them. I just turn off notifications on my phone so there’s no spoilers. But this is different… this is our game and the only way to avoid spoilers is to tum my phone off completely. Thank you for the suggestions. I will try each one.

Longest. Day. Ever. EVER. Actually, second longest; the last Saturday in September 2021 was the longest. I just wanna hear our song after the match. I don’t care how we win, it can be ugly af, just wanna hear our song.

What is wrong with Kayo?
I can’t answer either of these questions. I’m a dinosaur when it comes to this sort of thing. I just turn things on and they work. Except for Kayo

What is wrong with Kayo?
I’ve tried this but it doesn’t change 🙁

What is wrong with Kayo?
Is that where you choose “from live” or “from start”? I always select from live but the delay is still lengthy. Right now it’s out to 15-mins delayed. I use a Google chrome cast to my TV. It works perfectly with everything other than Kayo. Dr G, I don’t know what a scrubber/timer is but I’d welcome a delay of 30-45 seconds.

What is wrong with Kayo?
Tonight I’ll be watching our match at home by myself (lockdown flashbacks - shudder) since I’m usually at the game or on the rare occasion that I can’t be there, I watch it at TSG or Brewmanity with other Dees peeps. But I’m a little unwell rn so home alone it is. I’m hoping someone here can advise me on the Kayo problem I have, that being a 10-15 min delay when watching live. It used to be 2 mins or so which is bad enough but 15 minutes is unacceptable. Would appreciate any advice.

Gonna take a stab in the dark and say this might have a lot to do with the stifling negativity, and not so much to do with our terrible start to the season. Those who don’t revel in abject pessimism will give DL a wide berth. I’m in that camp, but clearly I’m also a masochist 🤪

GAMEDAY: Rd 05 vs Essendon
I’m sure I don’t need to elaborate, but I don’t like Essendon… I [censored] HATE THEM. The hate goes way back, long before 2000 and it only gets stronger with every passing year. But that’s something I’ll save for my inevitable session with a shrink. For now I’m just gonna pray to sweet baby Jesus that we beat this revolting team. Us by an X (20pts) CARNA MIGHTY DEES!!! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙

Someone who’s actually trying to imagine what Fritta is thinking/requesting. I like it.

If we lose this week I will?
All good PF, BBP has expressed my sentiment perfectly. Also pleasing is that he didn’t put “of” after “strong” and yes, it does matter. 😁

If we lose this week I will?
I hear ya DOF. The inaugural Gather Round, I went by car, only stopped once, got to Adelaide, parked the car, arrived just before the first bounce, sat in the heavy, nonstop rain watching us lose to 🤮Essendon🤮, got back in the car and came straight back to Melbourne. But… I wasn’t glum because I was with DA buddies and we don’t do glum. 😉

NON-MFC: Round 05
No! Not every thread! This is a NON-MFC thread. What part of NON do folks not understand? There’s every single other thread to moan and groan about our club, why can’t this thread be exempt? I mean, your comment had nothing to do with the Pies/Swans match. The point of it was to highlight our dearth of goals kicked so far this season. Fine, point it out, but you could do so in our post-match or our pre-match thread, or any number of other threads. I just think it sucks that the one thread that some of us find is a welcome distraction from the sad plight of our club is being hijacked. I guess I’ll just have to add it to my list of threads to avoid, as unfair as that is.

NON-MFC: Round 05
Ugh it’s gonna be one of those nights. I’m running out of threads that are bearable. 👋

PREGAME: Rd 05 vs Essendon
The poster you’re calling a troll is the complete opposite of that and if you knew the meaning of the word you’d know it’s not applicable. However, the poster to whom you replied (with your post above) seems to delight in our team’s terrible situation. The lower we drop, the more exuberant he becomes. So if you’re gonna bag anyone, how about choosing someone who deserves it.

If we lose this week I will?
You’re not a Melbourne supporter. A true Melbourne supporter would never, ever celebrate a loss, no matter the reason.

If we lose this week I will?
… I’ll cry. But I cry every time we lose, so nothing new there. I’d still turn up to the flush run except this Tuesday it’s at Casey and I’m not sure my passport’s in order 😜 Incidentally, why oh why is the flush run at Casey next week???? It’s a rare open training session there because it’s another in this series of Family Days, but school holidays or not, they’ll get fewer attendees than they would had it been scheduled for Gosch’s. The intra-club match held at Casey in February was on a Friday afternoon at around school knock-off time. The vendors were told to expect 2,500 people. There was fewer than 200 people there. I wish the MFC would give up trying to stage successful fan events at that desolate sch!tt-hole. But back to the original question… I’ll cry.

Bayley becomes a dad
Noah Leo Fritsch was born on Sunday the 6th of April at about midday. He was due on the 9th but decided to make his grand entrance to the world three days early. At birth he weighed 3.3 kg (7lb, 3oz) and was 49.5cm (19.4in) long. Mum and little bundle of joy both doing very well, in fact, so well that despite booking the hospital room for five days (ending today) Nat went home the day after giving birth. Little Noah came close to having a living great-great grandmother because Bayley’s great grandmother passed away only a year or so ago. Longevity is a thing on Pauline’s side of the family.
