  1. Yeah I’ll be there. You’re welcome to bring your son to the front of our bay before the match and he can grab a flag or a handheld banner or a giant head (if we bring them with). Just look out for me… I’ll be the one in red and blue 😜 hashtag never not funny
  2. As an aside, re the Sharpy-bashing on here, or anywhere… I know, everyone’s entitled to their opinion, but I find it sad because he’s so keen to do well, he’s dedicated, and Goody says he absolutely works his backside off. He’s always super positive, it’s infectious. He’s always smiling and whoever happens to be with him can’t help but be happy, me included. I told him it was good to see him brought on earlier in the game than usual and he beamed and said “I can’t wait for tomorrow!” Considering he’s likely to be the sub again, he was delighted.
  3. Jeffo looks great. No worries at all. He was in a happy and buoyant mood. Not a lot of training today but they all had so much fun, Jeffo included.
  4. This tweet…
  5. Brad Green says “you’re welcome.” Hope y’all don’t mind but I thanked him on everyone’s behalf for his tweet.
  6. You said… “He’s 27yo & needs to grow up, knuckle down & get on with it” THIS ATTITUDE IS WHY YOUNG MEN IN PARTICULAR DON’T SEEK HELP FOR THEIR MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES!!! It’s “Spud’s Game” tomorrow night. Think about it.
  7. Picket Fence is right… you have no idea. I know the truth but I’d sooner stick hot knitting needles into my eyeballs than tell the likes of you. However, if I was to deign to such a low level (in a momentary lapse of reason for eg.) I’d be more than happy to divulge my source… it’s Clarrie himself. Bottom line: McClure knows as much about this as as every other journo, which is clearly not much.
  8. McClure left an important word out of his statement, the silly bugger
  9. And old mate Williamson (#2). Although I suspect he’s had a talking to because the last couple of our games at which he’s officiated he’s been uncharacteristically less harsh on us.
  10. I’m a big Razor fan. He was always fair as an umpire. Sure, he loved the attention and being in the spotlight but his adjudication was second to none. I wish more umpires were like him.
  11. Not maybe… definitely. He does it all the time to varying degrees. It’s super disappointing
  12. You mentioned my two favourite segments on 360: Razor and Simmo & Horse. I love Razor’s input because it’s the closest we’ll ever get to an explanation of some of the questionable decisions. As for Simmo and Horse, who knew they were so entertaining?! They’re funny and sharp and work well together.
  13. … along with umpire dissent
  14. … which makes what he said silly as well as disrespectful. Brad Green was the guest speaker and spoke just prior to the Q&A. Not sure if he was still there when Jonesy made the comment but if he was, and he heard it, I’d like to think he’s gonna have a word with Jonesy.
  15. If memory serves me correctly he cheated on her when she was pregnant. Class act right there.
  16. So, yesterday the Western Demons put on a prematch function. It was emceed by our awesome chant-leader and face of the DA, Ryan. In the Q&A with Jonesy, Ryan asked the question “Can you see yourself as a head coach sometime in the future?” Without hesitation Jonesy said he does. He said he hopes to take over as head coach of us in two or three years. At first everyone thought it was tongue-in-cheek, but it wasn’t. Jonesy was dead serious. It was super awkward.
  17. This morning I got home at 7am having not slept for 30 hours, eight of which were on a plane, several hours at the prematch function and of course a gruelling sesh of front row flogging. Before slipping into a coma I did one thing and one thing only: I watched the Kayo Mini of the Geel/Coll match, including three encores of the final 60 seconds, and as far as understatements go, here’s a whopper… I was happy 😃
  18. Well said, and awesome to see you back on here 💕
  19. I heartily disagree with you on this, HT. Jack Crisp is a bottom feeder. It’s easy to forget his past indiscretions: he was busted sexting underage girls. Granted, it was years ago and he was young but for mine that’s what speaks volumes about him as a person. He made a donation to Reach…. and publicly told everyone. I’ve made donations to Reach, we (the DA) make donations to Reach on a regular basis, many people make donations to Reach, but we don’t feel the need to inform everyone of such. This is my appraisal of Jack Crisp. I don’t expect everyone else to agree.
  20. Dude’s a try-hard. He has the personality of a bowl of cold spaghetti and it’s so cringe hearing him try to sound quirky and offbeat. It’s all contrived. You’re naturally ho-hum, Schofield… deal with it.
  21. IF MELKY IS RUBBED OUT I’LL MARCH ON CITY HALL!!! Who’s with me?
  22. About the lucky socks… 😬
  23. No comment
  24. I am actually looking around… the Camfield. Yep, looking around a lot. Especially the bar area.
