  1. Freakish sight. Our Ryan has an intense fear of birds so he was struggling, but only on the inside where it was a Hitchcock movie going on, but on the outside he didn’t miss a beat.
  2. More plinks than plonks would be great. A plonk is a behind
  3. All is good and holy in the world for @Neil Crompton today now that you’ve posted 😅
  4. I’ve been up since 6:30, my dear king-size sheet rack. I’m on chook tending duty this morning and I reckon my girls know when it’s gameday coz I’m quite manic and they literally sit on my feet to slow me down. True story. Six and a half hours ‘til the first bounce so they’ve got their work cut out for them. 😂
  5. The last time we played Collingwood one of their fans sitting in the bay next to us, after hearing us (yet again) chant M-E-L-B-O-U-R-N-E yelled out, “OK, we get it, you can spell!” I couldn’t resist and said, “Shame you can’t spell.” He said, “We can spell. Everyone can spell!!!” I said, “Isaac Quaynor says Hi.” I was referring to this… He paused for a sec then said, “Yeah, fair point.” 😂 To their credit though, the following week, this was their banner… 😆
  6. Wouldn’t an upset mean we win? 🤔
  7. I see your Puppy Brown and I’ll raise you a Jai Culley! We’re coming off a stirring win, it’s Tracc’s 200th, and we’re playing at our beautiful home ground on a sunny afternoon… We’ve got this! GIVE ‘EM HELL DEES! ❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙❤️💙
  8. I laughed at your comment then I remembered this ⬆️
  9. Don’t wanna mozz them but North are leading now. 🤞🏽🤞🏽🤞🏽
  10. If Bailey Smith played for any club other than Geelong Chris Scott wouldn’t have dismissed his (Smith’s) comment as he has done. Similarly, if Noah Balta played for any club other than Richmond Yze wouldn’t have said Noah has paid the price (four-game suspension) and that’s enough of a punishment. These coaches should be objective on such serious matters.
  11. Where we sit at the SCG - which isn’t behind the goals (as it should be) coz that’s where Sydney members sit - we have to leave the first three rows empty because of that convex centre of the field. I don’t understand why it can’t be levelled 🤷‍♀️
  12. Bobby Hill for personal reasons and Pendlebury coz way past his bedtime.
  13. (Sigh) Imagine North beating Collingwood tonight. OK stop imagining now, It ain't gonna happen 😑
  14. Those Lions jumpers again 🫣
  15. This is true and I myself was a SunScreamer (GC cheer squad member) for a day. But the props: the flags and floggers etc. are better and there’s more of them than some Vic. teams, teams who actually do have fans.
  16. Gotta say, for an interstate team who is not at home and who has zero fans, the Giants cheer squad looks very impressive, especially when compared to Carlton who never look good. The Blues have no giant flags and most of their medium and small flags are faded and frayed around the edges. For a club with so many members they’re cheap bastards 😂
  17. That depends on which teams you’re watching.
  18. Toby (B) clearly in a lot of pain but hasn’t come off. It looks like a dislocated shoulder 😭
  19. But he’s being managed so it’s no surprise he’s not playing for Casey 🤷‍♀️
  20. No, he isn’t. He was at Gosch’s today.
  21. Yes but do you make a mean skinny capp like Alejandro?
  22. Was lovely to see you, Ditcha. I’m not a 10+ year member so I had your free coffee 😝 Thanksies!
  23. You didn’t miss much. The coffee was meh. But then again it was my third for the morning and the coffee from Alejandro my gorgeous Colombian barista is a hard act to follow.
  24. Heaps of people here coz 10+ years members were invited. Pfft bloody weekenders Some people will do anything for a free coffee. Anyways, I’m off to get a free coffee.
  25. Unfortunately there’s many. And it’s not just 16yos they pick on. A few years ago I was at the ‘G, Melb vs Hawks, I was on my own and found myself up in the nosebleeds surrounded by Hawks supporters and this one Hawks supporter just wouldn’t let up. He started with bagging the Dees but before long he turned on me. All manner of filthy comments were thrown my way, progressively getting more offensive. He was so belligerent that no one was game enough to say anything. It got to the point where I went from being annoyed and disgusted to - for the first time ever at the footy - genuinely scared. At halftime I was so distressed I left and as I was leaving his parting salvo was “Yeah, if ya can’t [censored] handle it, Princess, [censored] off home!” So I took his advice and [censored] off home. When I got outside the ground a security guy saw me and was concerned as to why I was so upset. I told him what’d happened and he was furious. He said there’s no way I should miss the match because of one a-hole so he took me back inside, walked me to Bay M3 and said, “Just go and sit in this bay. You’ll feel safe.” I did that and just as I sat down, a goal was kicked by iirc Max and all of the sudden flags and giant heads appeared outta nowhere and I realised I was sitting in the cheer squad. From that day on I never sat anywhere else. I guess I’ve got that revolting Hawks fan to thank for discovering the Demon Army. Yeah nah [censored] him. I would’ve discovered the DA eventually 😁
