Yeah we were super distracted at the beginning of the match, especially by Harris Andrews who was right in front of us and who was wearing his jumper at a length that gave the best illusion of yellow bum cheeks wearing a black g-string. At one point early in the match I thought that having a laugh at the bare bum cheeks might prove the highlight of an otherwise depressing day. How wrong I was! The bare bum cheeks came a close second though 😁

The socks are well looked after… no worries there. But the plot thickens… I was given these earrings as a gift. I first wore them when we played Freo and have worn them on gameday since, except for vs Hawks because Melky didn’t play. I wore them yesterday. Therefore they’re clearly good luck earrings!

Lions’ indigenous jumper: bare bum cheeks

So Incredibly proud of our boys. Last night was surreal; walking along the streets after the match was nuts, even Lions supporters were up and about and in a celebratory mood and there was no malice (not at the Pineapple, anyways). Before the match we were saying that if we lose by no more than two or three goals that’ll effectively be a win. Nobody bothered to imagine an actual win coz why would you, therefore the shock was real 😅 I only got home from the airport an hour ago so I’ve yet to watch the replay (which I rely on since I don’t see much action during the match) but I hear my boy Melks was not too shabby 🤗

We actually went out of our way to find this sort of establishment. We don’t have indoor voices.

It was fascinating to watch Clarrie “tagging” Bill Laurie. He was all over him the entire time, even when the ball was nowhere near them. It actually got to a point where Bill was genuinely [censored] off, such was Clarrie’s very close and prolonged “attention.” Speaking of Bill, I wished him good luck for Sunday. He said “I’m not playing.” He said he’s an emergency which is why he knows he’s not playing. I’m wondering how these things go: would he have been told he’s not playing? He seemed confident that he won’t be used.
