  1. Yeah let’s go with “confused” coz were I to quote them the profanity filter on here would blow up.
  2. Fun Fact Ed Langdon & Oscar McDonald both debuted in the same game Ed for Freo and Oscar for us Vice versa when they play against each other tomorrow 😃
  3. Thanks. I told Mrs Fritta I’d find out what the go is. Actually, it’s hard for his fam. They’re going to Casey to support him (including 12-day-old son, Noah) and now they’ll have to pack up everything and everyone at halftime to head over to the ‘G. I guess they don’t have to be there right on time for the first bounce since it’s highly unlikely that Fritta will be out on the field at that time, but now that I’ve said it… 😬😳 One more question, or rather, an opinion… Do you think Fritta will be put back in the firsts next week, or more importantly, the week after (vs Eagles in Perth)?
  4. I’ve a question… So, Fritta’s been named as an emergency meaning he has to be at the ‘G for the firsts, right? He’s been told he’s in the Casey side playing at Casey Fields in a match that starts at 11:05am tomorrow. Yesterday morning when he was told he’s been dropped he was told he’d be playing a half at Casey. Does this mean he’ll leave Casey Fields at halftime and head to the ‘G before the start of the seniors match? If so, is that something that happens regularly? That’s actually three questions, but what’s an extra couple o’ questions between friends? Four questions now. 😅
  5. … a debut. A debut of anyone in red and blue, regardless of who he/she is. In this case it’s Tommy Fullarton and we all need to get behind him and have faith in him. GO OUT THERE AND GIVE ‘EM HELL, CREAM!!!
  6. You’d have to be closest to the pin prediction-wise. Nice!
  7. It may well be what he meant but it’s NOT what he said. You can’t expect a comment like that to remain unaddressed. Incidentally, I don’t think that’s what he meant at all. I think by “one lousy flag” he meant it was a lousy flag because it wasn’t followed by more flags, and it has little to do with where it was played. You’ve just furnished him with an excuse. #FreudianVibesAplenty
  8. And it’s posts like this that make me laugh because you can want him gone all you like, he’s going nowhere. 😅
  9. Yeah I left out the coming up bit, which I shouldn’t have since I came up as quickly as possible.
  10. The drop from the first of these consecutive posts to the second is so extreme I’ve got the bends. 😅
  11. Not naïve whatsoever. It’s a fact: both sides are equal on the scoreboard before the match starts. There’s every chance of a win. I also love watching the boys warm up, and seeing the stands slowly fill. We set up our bay with flags and giant heads etc. and the mood is always good, even if it’s raining. Red Sox or Redlegs… you’re a loyal fan who is always hopeful, imo that’s the best kind of fan.
  12. Not foolish at all, NC. That excitement before the start of each game is right up there with the best things about footy.
  13. As soon as I wake up on GameDay I’m excited because it’s a new week and there’s always a chance we’ll win. (I remind myself that the scoreboard shows 0.0.0 for both teams at the first bounce.) I get to the ground super early - especially when it’s at the ‘G - to soak up the vibe. For me GameDay is never not exciting, even when we play at Mordor or Carrara.
  14. Oh Luci, I’ve deliberately avoided reading certain threads - this being one of them - but I’d never ignore a notification from you, so here I am. Aaaaaaand here I go. Soiya 👋 PS: voodoo dolls don’t work, and I know this because I’ve made quite a few, yet certain Demonland posters seem fine.
  15. Hope is everything. Without hope, why bother with anything.
  16. I stand corrected if wrong, but it seems this speculation is a result of what Caroline Wilson first reported. If so, LOL. Ken Hinkley made an interesting comment in his presser the other night. In response to something questionable that was reported about Port he said (and I’m paraphrasing) there are so many different footy shows on TV now which means more journalists needing something different to report. I reckon what he really wanted to say is “stop making sch!ttt up” 🙃
  17. Please don’t regret anything you post, J… not when there’s a truckload of regrettable posts for which no one expresses regret, but for which they should.
  18. I think I like angry Andy 🤭
  19. Yes, it was. Nibs didn’t want to leave the MFC but he had to live in Adelaide which left him no choice but to leave our club, hence his comment about wishing he could pick up the MFC and place it into Adelaide.
  20. To what are you referring?
  21. Thought I’d throw my post in amongst the comments about Kozzie’s new teammates etc., absolutely hilarious as they are 🙄 I hope the injury isn’t serious and that Koz can play on Saturday. If he isn’t fit to play, I hope he’s not too disappointed and wish him a speedy recovery.
  22. You took the time to post about the “his untouchables” so clearly you do.
  23. Some rather spirited argy-bargy
  24. Yeah nah you’re right. They DO NOT like each other 😳
