You mentioned my two favourite segments on 360: Razor and Simmo & Horse. I love Razor’s input because it’s the closest we’ll ever get to an explanation of some of the questionable decisions. As for Simmo and Horse, who knew they were so entertaining?! They’re funny and sharp and work well together.

So, yesterday the Western Demons put on a prematch function. It was emceed by our awesome chant-leader and face of the DA, Ryan. In the Q&A with Jonesy, Ryan asked the question “Can you see yourself as a head coach sometime in the future?” Without hesitation Jonesy said he does. He said he hopes to take over as head coach of us in two or three years. At first everyone thought it was tongue-in-cheek, but it wasn’t. Jonesy was dead serious. It was super awkward.

This morning I got home at 7am having not slept for 30 hours, eight of which were on a plane, several hours at the prematch function and of course a gruelling sesh of front row flogging. Before slipping into a coma I did one thing and one thing only: I watched the Kayo Mini of the Geel/Coll match, including three encores of the final 60 seconds, and as far as understatements go, here’s a whopper… I was happy 😃

I heartily disagree with you on this, HT. Jack Crisp is a bottom feeder. It’s easy to forget his past indiscretions: he was busted sexting underage girls. Granted, it was years ago and he was young but for mine that’s what speaks volumes about him as a person. He made a donation to Reach…. and publicly told everyone. I’ve made donations to Reach, we (the DA) make donations to Reach on a regular basis, many people make donations to Reach, but we don’t feel the need to inform everyone of such. This is my appraisal of Jack Crisp. I don’t expect everyone else to agree.

Dude’s a try-hard. He has the personality of a bowl of cold spaghetti and it’s so cringe hearing him try to sound quirky and offbeat. It’s all contrived. You’re naturally ho-hum, Schofield… deal with it.

I heard May was gonna be a late out from someone in the DA who arrived in Perth yesterday morning. He didn’t say who he’d heard it from but I believed it because Maysie didn’t look right at training on Thursday, so it came as no surprise.

There’s a finite number of Red Bulls that the human body can take. But I’ll give it a fair crack. If the broadcast shows the cheer squad and you see someone asleep on a pillow made of floggers as early as during the first quarter, you’ll know that Red Bull in fact doesn’t give you wings.
