I congratulated Goody on his recent tying of the knot. Told him his gorgeous bride Kris looked stunning, the scenery was beautiful and his shirt was hands down the ugliest wedding apparel I’ve ever seen. He was shocked to hear my thoughts on his shirt. He said he loves it, it’s his favourite piece of clothing. I said I’ll pray for you. He said folks were asking him if he had a 10-pin bowling game to attend after the match. He thought that was funny. I said I’ll pray reeeaaallll hard for you. 🙃

When we first heard about the open session being scheduled for the 14th of February some DA were saying that because it’s Valentine’s Day they might not be available coz plans with their other half etc. I jokingly replied, ”I’ll definitely be available because the MFC is my one and only true love.” I expected to get these reaction emojis 😂🤣 but instead I got these ❤️ 💖 which goes to show I’m not the nuffiest in the DA. 😝🙁

The 22nd of January is part of the school holidays open session series. I know in the past there’s been no training at Gosch’s during the AO but the session on the 22nd at Gosch’s is locked in. We’ve already ordered what’s needed in terms of sausage sizzle stuff and BBQ hire and since that’s done through the Club, there’s no doubt it’s going ahead. Definitely bring the little man along 🤗

I’ve got a feeling the serious stuff starts now but they’d prefer to keep things under wraps as much as possible. The website usually only mentions sessions that are open. So far the only sessions that are officially open sessions are on Monday the 20th of January at Casey, Wednesday the 22nd of January at Gosch’s and Friday the 14th of February at Casey. That session at Casey on the 14th of February is puzzling because it’s part of the Family Day series yet it’s on a weekday after kids return to school. 🤷‍♀️

It’s confirmed training at Gosch’s next Wednesday and at this stage there’s nothing scheduled for tomorrow or Monday at Gosch’s.

I’ll ask my guy about tomorrow and Monday then I’ll post here. At this stage next Wednesday at 10am at Gosch’s is the only cert as far as I know.

From my sister from another mister… Strange training- only 8 on ground with one coach so far away I can’t see who they are and are only throwing the ball up and catching it. There seem to be enough cars there that would indicate they are all there. There’s no equipment out and the scoreboard is not lit up. None of the boys have numbers. They are definitely practising catching the ball though 😅 Ps I could do what they are doing. Can’t see if it’s Goodie with the 8/9 boys. The rest must be in the gym. Mmmmmmmm

BTW, what was Melky thinking? Shirt tucked into shorts, with no belt. And they’re ill-fitting; it’s like he’s wearing his older brother’s shorts. And the colours don’t work well together: school-shirt blue with pastel lemon. Looks like I’m gonna have to choose a new favourite player.

I wouldn’t read too much into it. Generally a player will invite about 10 teammates, (that’s been the way recently, anyways) and the same probably applies to coaches. I’m guessing some who were invited couldn’t attend for whatever reason (they were holidaying elsewhere, for example).

The bride couldn’t look more 2025 if she tried.
