Trade Targets
My money would be on Lever, May and Fritsch for shopping purposes McVee and Rivers are hesitant to sign new deals but that isn't our desire But remember this could all change with a new coach because the club hasn't decided on the direction yet without consultation of the new coach Incoming - Goodwin wanted Worpel and Derksen committed to us 12 months ago. Doubt Worpel happens but Derksen coming in will allow us to shop defenders Haven't heard of any other incomings

Trade Targets
Yep. Just because lever wants to stay doesn’t mean we won’t shop Fristch is also the one who has gone in the other direction. Goodwin had no plans to lose him, things could change now

Trade Targets
Very well sourced

Brad Green and the current board
Very true At 0-5 he was spoken to The feelers stopped after the Sydney win when the board felt it had been turned around

Trade Targets
we're past the stop-gap players at this point and some bigger pieces need to be shifted for us to really hit back hard. I'm talking shifting two of Oliver, Lever, T Lots of teams were keen on Lever. He couldn't wait to get out. After the Goody sacking, he's very keen to stay If club could have the last 2 years back, Petracca Petty and Oliver would've been moved on for a kings ransom better than what Richmond had Enough senior players to ensure we don't bottom out and build a good future Lindsay Langford Windsor a good start

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Oh no doubt Kozzie would've signed that deal knowing full well theres a chance Goody could be gone and was happy to sign it.

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Lever was on his way out before this news McVee was disillusioned with false promises Rivers furious the midfield role he trained for all summer was then given back to Viney and Oliver I imagine only Pickett and Viney are truly upset at this news
-
Welcome to Demonland: Jai Culley
Because if Culley was to play, Spargo, Laurie, Kolt, Sparrow, Sharp would've had to miss and Goody had his club
-
Simon Goodwin Sacked
Even when he realized he didn’t change it Pickett was them only new one Oliver Viney trac got their usual minutes His final move was Windsor but way too late by then Even worse he found gems like rivers and then ignored him Dug his own grave

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Welcome to the MFC Bucks
-
Farewell Judd McVee
Turns out part of the deal was some time up the ground Goody believed he didn’t perform their in training and reneged Probably not salvageable at this point with both WA clubs lurking but I’d say the biggest priority for the new coach

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Lot of moving parts in the last week. Under Goodwin the intention was to compete but club is now considering a rebuild and not sure the direction. Will depend on the next coach Buckley is gathering momentum. Smart money because personally I don’t believe Horse will be keen players on their way out like Lever are now keen to see the next step Fritsch was never leaving under Goodwin and is now seen as an option to go Players want May out and believe he’s replaceable. Sick of his attitude. Gawn defended him in public after KB but that was it. Believe Petty Derksen Adams enough to cover Rivers and McVee midfield minutes another thing that will need to be addressed

Farewell Charlie Spargo
Doesn't matter where he is, he'll be in the VFL Goodwin's loyalty to his premiership side was his downfall

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Fantastic news for the club that Carlton continue to descend into irrelevance Allows us to take our time and work on our targets to convince them than have to compete for them Club will want this done before trade week and free agents etc

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
The group has indeed been formed. It includes Alan Richardson

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Also on Goodwin - will not be short of media offers for next year. He is so highly rated in the industry

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
Proper process in place to assess all options if he doesn’t want the job/goes to Carlton. That includes untried hot property assistants. The main reason for all of this is the need for the game plan that suits modern Footy and it is usually young coaches that can implement this. Buckley is also very much high on our list but many in the industry believe he will do one more year of media and go to Tassie

Who Will Be Our Next Coach?
So the call to a certain premiership coach who recently made a grand final was definitely made before Green called Goody on Monday night The call is yet to be answered but belief in the industry is that he always wanted to keep coaching and wasn’t happy with the deal to replace him Melb wanted to get ahead of the chasing pack I see it’s worked as Carlton are having an emergency board meeting tonight Melbourne have their eggs in more than one basket

Gus injury and retirement and melksham ACL cost us a flag I’ll die on that hill

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Had to be done Thank you for the flag Simon. Something I believed I would never see

Wade Derksen
Well considering Leek Aleer couldn't get games till recently, think they knew a 23 year old who hadn't played wasn't high in their pecking order. This year, Aleer, Bucklet, Taylor have all had injuries and they hadn't played. Although, I do wish maybe were as ruthless with ANB and told him to stick when he asked to go home right after signing a new contract
-
Wade Derksen
Giants don't lose players they want to lose Bobby Hill is really the only one in that time. They're usually a very good team to worth it, there's a reason they've kept guys like Greene Whitfield and Coniglio happy for so long
-
Wade Derksen
Giants not trading Derksen last year should cop more heat than it does. 23 year old kid desperate to get him for reasons outside of footy in a desperate family situation told to stay firm and live without his family to play VFL all year and not one AFL game Sometimes there is more to life than footy. the Kid couldn't believe McCartney said no to him when he explained why he had to get home. I find it weird because when I had a meeting with the father of a player of ours that once played for them, he said Giants more than any other club were by the far the best at looking after players and their family. Big words considering between his sons, they've been at 6 of the biggest clubs in the league. I'm, glad we have persisted and offered this kid a life line

Farewell Judd McVee
Deal with him was agreed months ago We gave him the 4 years he wanted Everyone agreed and was happy Absolutely no idea why his side hasn't signed and what has happened since
