Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
Lol poor Woey...why him?
-
Harrison Petty
Turner just so fast and excellent in defense, we need that speed there. I agree would rather him be in attack, but we would need someone just as fast and good at marking in defense to replace him. Lever looked better last game but not sure Petty would cut it back there anymore it would be a bit too slow I think.

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
All in (whatever we have to put all in now) to get Luke Jackson, gotta get him, he has to be a big part of the future plan and surely he'd want to come home with Koz now and get things humming again...my goodness that would be delicious indeed for 2026 I reckon we'd have a good tilt.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Umpires umpires umpires...played a huge part in that game. Yes we could have won it a few times and didn't, but those umpires didn't help make it fair. I want to see Langford tried as a forward...the bloke can mark and kick...how is this not a consideration?

Luke Jackson back to Victoria?
God how embarrassing for them to have a headline like that after not only poaching our players but constantly doing that exact thing to our players like Kozzie. Just a dumb thing for them to come out with. Total pot calling kettle black stuff haha well done Freo way to be total hypocrites.

Harrison Petty
I don't mind Petty, I used to get annoyed with him but I think the pile on is unfair. The bloke is just doing what he's told. I reckon he does well to provide a target and takes some great marks, albeit not quite enough of them and he isn't exactly fast but he does provide some contest. I'd love him to have more speed but I find he constantly surprises me with some of the things he's able to do. I don't mind him as a forward option and I think he will still develop, he does look a lot older but don't forget he's still fairly young (seems funny saying that considering he looks and moves like a much older person at the moment).

Umpiring standard
Its just blatant...we get a free called against us for something seemingly not worthy of it...then pies do exact same thing and somehow its not a free kick or worse yet they figure out a way to pay another free kick for pies. Incredible and hard to fathom why umps don't get raked over the coals for that kind of inconsistency.

PREGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
I mean let's settle down, we did very well to get within a point of those protected species and the umps all against us, it wasn't a fair game and we still nearly won it. I know its frustrating and how can you expect to be able to win against those odds when it seems like the umps have it in for you but we did a lot right. Would like to see Jeffo and Viney, but I really want to see Jeffo and JVR try to get some mojo going...would rather see Jeffo in than JVR though really.

POSTGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Shocking umpiring, we did pretty well considering the game wasn't a fair one. Surely we need some kind of arc to right the many wrongs that happen in a game like that. I don't care if it slows it down...until they can umpire fairly and un-bias they deserve a big brother making sure they do their job properly. Daicos really is loved by the umps. I mean we got within a point against a good team and those bloody umps. I'm no sook, but that wasn't a fair game! Granted we missed a few we should have got, we had a couple of chances to win it towards the end but just can't finish as well as others. Still...didn't seem like a fair game.

Umpiring standard
So many bad and looked like such a bias to Collingwood decisions. It's pretty shocking being on the receiving end of some of that [censored].

PREGAME: Rd 13 vs Collingwood
Interesting to see if we bring Jeffo in...not sure I would, but the Melbourne FC app has a bit of a Jeffo feature and that usually means someone is going very well to get a game...well it does with a debut anyway. Personally I reckon he might get eaten alive by the pies and he's doing well at Casey right now but he also seems like a bit of a younger Ben Brown with his kicking and his runups...I wonder if we'll bring him in.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Turner looks too good in defence, especially when we have JVR and Jeffo who's job is forward, hope they step up. Rivers at Half Back for me, he's so good there, just keep him there. Not sure about Windsor but we had lots of issues yesterday but oh my the goal kicking was dreadful. Put everything into fixing that please, we should be better at that. I really don't want to see AJ in the team again for a while until he can kick! Not his fault, but his kicking seems to be the worst of the bunch.
-
Time to go Goody?
Goody isn't the problem...its the goal kicking! Fix that up and we win yesterday by a country mile, even if we didn't look that flash the rest of the time, this was the difference.
-
Jake Lever
Turner is probably my favorite defender right now!

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
He should imagine there is a running team mate sitting through the goal posts and he will nail it...such a good field kick, can't kick a set shot goal, I bet he hates himself for it too.

POSTGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
21 points. Not winning games doing that now are we. We need to get better at kicking goals this has been a long time ongoing issue and it costs us games. As much as we didn't look as good as the Saints yesterday, we still got it in there and had lots of scoring shots....but 21 point my goodness that's just unacceptable and you won't win.
-
Jake Lever
I would rather see Tmac in there for Lever, back line looked much better with him there instead. Shame, we love Lever, but he just doesn't look like he used to right now. I remember Tmac had the same issues after injury, spent a while looking ordinary and not up to it...then came back the next year and looked awesome again! Just might take some time.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Would assume Laurie sub if Sharp not, was keen to see him get a full game but that is logical I guess.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
SHarp has to be sub still he's been a great sub. Proven. Laurie would just be an emergency which is exactly how it reads at the moment. I think selection is very good!

Jordan Lewis
He doesn't get traded for anything, and I reckon he loves being a dee and hopefully wants to stay anyway. No picks are worth that guy, no way you find another like him. Get Jackson and keep Kozzie, done and done!

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
I think having McDonald there able to rotate the older backs is a great option when necessary, will be great with the option to rest/manage the older very important players there. I agree, don't mess with the midfield, I like Spargo but I think Viney brings something else that would not be a bad thing.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
EXACTLY!! Can't wait till their both ready, but no need to rush them back we did very well in that game without them, let them build.

PREGAME: Rd 12 vs St. Kilda
Don't touch Disco, he looks awesome and fast down back, we need him there. Makes the back line much better! AJ not sure, as said in other thread, but obviously brings something and the team seem to do well with him in it...he can't actually kick, or mark, but he does some other things that make all the difference in some moments so I kinda like what he brings. Wouldn't get him out unless someone like JVR is really knocking down the door but I like him as second ruck. Viney in for Spargo seems good, Sharp played well but I reckon sub is between him and Fritsch at this stage, loved what Fritsch was doing though so keep him in for sure. Hope Viney is fit and firing, love to see the old guard back in the middle in top form doing their thing. Then Lever...seems like he wasn't quite ready, and really I reckon Tmac is in way better form right now, both very important players so happy to rest Tmac because we will likely need him but his form is great. Happy for Lever to keep his spot and build if his ankle is actually ready for it. Time will tell.

POSTGAME: Rd 11 vs Sydney
Love those photos the team seems very united and having fun and just enjoying their footy, all parts of it. Good vibes about this team and what we're building. So proud of the boys, still not sure about AJ he seemed like a liability in a lot of ways and skills aren't there like others but he does seem to bring something and if he frees up Max and the other big fellas from having to ruck duties then that's a good thing...hey he's been in the side two weeks now and we've had two very excellent wins, so something is working. Very enjoyable win, and loving seeing the big guns back to their best especially Clarry when he kicked that goal that had to be right up there with my favorite footy moment for a long time, both our teams reaction to him and the crowd, just love it so much joy and support for Clarry it really spoke volumes.
