  1. Matt Owies it is then 🤝 [He is our 3rd highest goal kicker this season ... grabs the monogram after kicking a 30m drop punt right in front of the sticks 😁] This trade saga has weeks to go, most parties will be adjusting their expectations by the end of it is my guess ... 😊
  2. Ouch, sounds painful 😬😁
  3. Will have to check it out, only two train stops from McKinnon and I see they do Laksas (my wife loves Seafood Laksa). Will also have to check out Derby Thai which I see mentioned as well 👍🤤
  4. Yes, this speculation has piqued my interest. Firstly Tracc is my favourite Demon, actually my favourite non-Blue footballer. Was saddened to hear of his issues with MFC and looking to leave ... ... then I hear Carlton talked about as possibly the primary destination ... now my interest levels are sky high ... Don't really frequent Insta but I do take an interest in things culinary actually, dabble in the kitchen sometimes, so maybe I should check out Tracc's handiwork, how is he with Asian cuisines, does he make Som Tum Pla Ra (love salted crabs)? 😁 Think Tracc might have to take a salary haircut if he really wants to catch the 19 Tram up Royal Parade though. I think Carlton could rustle up the money inside the cap but if there is a disparity with other Carlton stars that is a problem.
  5. LOL, point taken, but it is directly relevant to the Petracca/Trade/Carlton vortex that just emerged out of the blue in the last day or so. Martin out frees up cap space. Not sure if a Tracc to Carlton trade can be made but it is potentially possible, no way near as unrealistic as Tracc to Collingwood (which would be horrible).
  6. Martin won't be at Parc de Princes next year. Very talented, can make a real impact when he plays, just out injured too much whilst being on a hefty contract. Recent draftee, Ashton Moir, with 2 classy goals as a sub in the last fortnight will take his role. Moir was very smart drafting by the Blues (pick 29 but at one stage was touted as a potential top 3 pick but lengthy injury). Picked up a potential star relatively cheaply. The kid is genuinely ambidextrous (only 1% of the population is) and has natural ability and instinct. Needs to build his tank with a big pre-season.
  7. I was listening to SEN on the way home from work tonight, Daniel Hoyne was on and was asked about Petracca. Hoyne said that statistically he was the 4th highest ranked footballer this season just before his injury on Kings Birthday. Also that since 2020 he had never been out of the top 10 in the Champion Data player rankings. Whilst there is a place for statistical analysis I don't treat it as gospel and prefer to trust my naked eye. Last time I saw Petracca play live was the Carlton v Melbourne game in May where he kicked 5 goals and nearly dragged Melbourne to snatch a win pretty much by himself. Was incredible to watch. Just pointing that out to those that are denigrating Tracc the footballer right now because they are upset about this situation. Hoping that MFC and he can sit down and sort something out that leaves both sides better off than sniping at each other via the media. Pots and pans don't need to fly across the kitchen in a breakup.
  8. 1968 and 1970 Fags for Carlton after being in the the Premiership wilderness for an extended period.
  9. To be called OnTrac5 Oval ... solving two problems with one hit 😁
  10. I suspect that players like Martin, Marchbank, Cunningham and maybe even Williams will be out the door soon. Martin and Williams are apparently on high contracts. Still, provision needs to be made for Weitering and TDK so its not an easy task.
  11. I suspect that Richmond will go into full rebuild mode via the draft. A player like Tracc would have been great for them couple of years ago, to squeeze in one more flag. Now they need the high draft picks.
  12. LOL. Telling the wife we can skip the Korean BBQ this year and take me to Ringwood on Sunday instead 😁 There better be no talk about growing up supporting the Pies nonsense, stay on safe ground and talk about Nonna's cooking with Silvagni, Cincotta, Fantasia & Cerra 😁
  13. Yep, its an issue. How much is it intrinsic to him and how much due to Carlton's strength & conditioning regime which appears to have been mishandled?? What Cerra has, that none of the Carlton or Melbourne midfielders really have is a decent, accurate kick into the foward 50.
  14. I suspect that is the case, a deal probably doesn't get done.
  15. No. 31 replied to DV8's topic in Melbourne Demons
I would be giving De Goey a very wide berth. On his day he can be a match winner but he is inconsistent, goes missing at times, injury prone and is a trip to Bali away from another scandal plastered all over the news.
  16. Oh, this has become a messy situation now ... I don't think the List Management at Parc de Princes had Tracc to Carlton on their potential incoming whiteboard list but looks like the Blues are being sucked into this saga now. Probably the only 'Big Melbourne' club that could make such a trade work right now. Not really seeing Carlton entertaining any trades involving Curnow, McKay, Cripps, Walsh, Weitering or Tom De Koning. This is seen as the spine of Carlton's 3 decade long drought breaking Premiership winning team in the next few years. Cerra for Tracc, they both get to keep their Number 5 😁 ... Oh and the Blues throw in a first round draft pick too ... Pittonet could be a back up ruck to Gawn as well ... Other trade possibility combinations could be one of Kennedy/Hewitt, Owies, Martin, a future 1st etc ... As DL's resident Bagger, I am more concerned with who will be available to play Brisbane in 11 days time.
  17. Thanks WCW ☺️ Even been a Dees member 2 years running 😁 My gut feeling is that the Dees bounce back next year. Sign one of the King brothers and a solid backup ruckman and MFC are flag contenders in 2025 I say 😈
  18. Thanks for the 3rd quarter in a certain game in Perth in 2021 but no loss TBH, Caleb Windsor is far more likely to be a long-term valuable contributor to the Dees.
  19. Oh please, they are a congregation of Jack Stringers, playing for contract extensions after they blew their season earlier this year. Hope they don't set fire to any dwarves on Mad Monday today. Wish them nothing but pain whilst Mr. Anti-Football Ross Lyon is there. He deserves the Saints and they deserve him [rant over] 😁
  20. We conceeded a goal with 13 seconds to go! But nevermind, lady luck smiled upon as today in Perth 😁
  21. I'm the token Blues supporter here, I get some shade thrown my way, but don't forget you are all a bit Navy Blue too 😁 'Interesting times' in the Docklands today ... All's well that ends well I guess ... 😅
  22. The Blues, the lid is off!! ... and floating down the Torrens River after Willie Rioli tore up Fremantle tonight in Perth 😁
  23. Heading to Marvel Stsdium right now, have no idea what to expect ... nevertheless ... Carn the Blues! 😁
  24. On the way to Marvel Stadium right now, but call tomorrow morning.
  25. The Dees checked out and allowed Collingwood to walk over them. Disappointing end to a disappointing season.
