I was not planning on watching tonight, however, my mum is visiting and insisted we turn on the game... It was tough going in the middle, and my sister and I started to pre-emptively drink... but delighted with that final quarter stomping 😁😁😁

Unconscionable and not viable, when you crystallise the cost per head like that! So many basic things, like easy access to schools, are already unavailable to the everyday Taswegian. Any dosh should be spent on improving that, rather than an AFL rort.

Yep, I'm completely switching off the AFLM from this point onwards. At least I have the luxury of living in Sydney, so I won't be confronted with any news about the barfworthy at worst, or boring at best, AFLM prelims and granny.

Very high pressure from both teams so far. According to the app, our pressure rating was 247 in the first quarter, and Port were 237.

Absolutely ridiculous umpiring... Figures that blatant favouritism of Collingwood by the AFL is the one instance where the AFL treats the AFLM and AFLW the same. On a related note, commentators were "one-Pied"/one-eyed all day. I know we need fans from a large club like Collingwood to get behind the AFLW to help increase eyeballs on the sport, but it is as nauseating as always!

She is not a lawyer. She never was admitted to practice (did not finish the post-degree requirements for admission), and so legally cannot be referred to as a lawyer. She left her job at a law firm (in legal tech) to be Trac's brand manager, which includes managing his social media.

May I also recommend English Literature? To this day, it was the best thing for my legal skills! All that close reading of a book is helpful for when you're reviewing a contract or legislation 🤓

Such a difficult question, El Diablo! Whatever maximises the pain of their supporters... like in the second set they bomb badly and lose by 60+ points 😁 or they have an ignomious destruction in the GF like the Swans 😂 Edit: I don't want it to be close, because I don't want them to feel like if something small changed they would have progressed / got ultimate success. Scorched earth please!

Have just booked AFLW tickets for this Saturday, to watch the daughter of a family friend run out for the Giants against Kuwarna. Jaded's comment reflects my feelings, and, like La Dee-vina Comedia, I hope for the resurrection of the Colliwobbles. I'm conflicted about Adelaide. Previously I would have been quite happy for them to win, based on how it would make a friend of mine happy. But the whole Rankine affair has left a sour taste in my mouth about the AFL and the finals.
