  1. Let's instead wait for Oliver to blink and take a substantial pay-cut so we are only playing a token $100k p.a. And a future 2nd rounder please. He wouldn't have the self-control to come back after metaphoring in our faces.
  2. At first sight, Oliver would be breaking his contract with MFC. Therefore, Oliver is responsible for re-imbursing MFC such that MFC is in the same position as if he performed the contract. This might include as an ambit claim, kicking in $300k p.a. so that MFC might attract a free agent. This might backfires if he waddles around at Casey on his current salary but I don't think that he has the balls. This might be set on its head if parts of his contract specifically survives its termination. Are you aware that this is the case?
  3. No Stephen King was at the meeting where Oliver was told that he would have a modified role. We don't know whether this information was communicated in a respectful manner or a carping demeaning manner. Based recent comments on King and previous observations of Oliver, I suspect the former and that Oliver just cracked it. Oliver seems to have burnt his bridges and hence , painted himself into a corner. It would be galling for him to return to MFC. So MFC need only pay a token amount say, $100k p.a. Maintaining his yearly salary or not, is his problem.
  4. One family member with major cognitive disability and two with minor at the local sporting club. I suspect that when I had to admonish one of the latter, he came and kicked in the bottom of my front door. No CCTV ☚ī¸
  5. I and hopefully MFC have zero interest in maintaining his yearly income. Very happy for him to go elsewhere for lesser money or star at Casey.
  6. Not really. Unless it is associated with cognitive deficit such that they are unable to understand the proper way to act. You should not cut them too much slack. They may have decreased restraint but not nil. That is similar to why Security come and loom over one when one has a skinful.
  7. He was not. He was asked to perform a modified role. It was unacceptable to him that the rest of MFC would not let him do what he wanted without interference or consideration of MFC's wider interests.
  8. That's why people go around telling fathers if they have an ugly daughter. The truth must out! There is no intention to offend. Just got their eye on the Pulitzer Prize.
  9. MFC found Langford at 6 with a immediate impact in his rookie year like, you know, that no.13 who used to play for Melbourne. Pick 11, Lindsay, shaded Langford until he was injured.
  10. We can't really know how much thought King gave Oliver's future role before Oliver's exit interview. I can't recall whether King attended such interview. However, be of good heart, it is firstly up to Oliver whether he stays or goes. It is the dog wagging the tail if he gets to demand to keep his old role. We may second-guess the expert appointed to the role (i.e. King) but Oliver is paid a bewildering amount of dollars to accept. He can always retire but what other trick does the pony have.
  11. Hang on. I am looking forward to the Quarter Final where Bailey slags off at Steven May. Well worth the price of a ticket.
  12. Gee another 192-194 cm key position player. Still dreaming of 197+ cm. However, he may a valuable role player. We haven't been doing that recently.
  13. Not really "really good experience". Petracca, Oliver and May" are all high maintenance. And bog us down in their emotional s**t. Still got a Lever (not rushed back from injury), a Gawn, a TMAC, a Salem, a Viney and a Melksham.
  14. Half a bag of lollies and a future jelly baby?
  15. But not better than MFC was, when they left.
  16. Unless the club is on board with him touring the Crows' facilities, he should just **** off, and take his mega-salary with him. No [censored] thank you very much. A single round one is sufficient if we cut out the cancer.
  17. Will be a revelation under a sensible coach
  18. Sovereign citizen a.k.a. not the full quid.
  19. Smith to do an ACL early but Brisvegas to get flogged.
  20. They would have folded if he was in the running but he wasn't.
  21. Must have been on the Tom "AtomicKitten" Morris sex-line. OHH yeah, that's how I like it.
  22. True, but why not a $300 directional mike? 🤔 I expect that they thought of them. 🤔
  23. Possibly not, except for MFC. My pater told me that Brian Dixon would kick the ball straight out to give the doninant rucks control. Any witnesses to this crime should contact the VFL.
