  1. There is a tickets thread where this is probabaly more appropriate. But, do remember that QB is an away game this year. So if you have home and away access you'll be able to scan in and sit in GA by using the ticket that becomes avalibale 72 hours before the game in the app.
  2. I think we should expect to be let down again when the last four weeks are announced. Round 20 vs Fremantle should definitely be a Friday night but expect it to be Saturday or Sunday because the AFL hates both clubs.. Round 21 vs Carlton should definitely be a Friday night but there are three games at Marvel so it will be shunted into Sunday 3:20 or Saturday night. Round 22 Vs Collingwood will end up in the Saturday 1:45 as it always does when we play them late in the year Round 23 vs Brisbane should be Friday night but can just see Gill's lovechild Saints getting it against Sydney.
  3. Would love to see how many other reigning premiers have had one Friday night game through 19 weeks.
  4. 35,737 is a pretty decent crowd imo. Third largest on mothers day for the last few decades. If it wasnt mothers day it would have been 40K and if it wasnt for covid probably 45K. Also, it was our first mothers day game since 2013, so we cant be complaining about that. Because of three marvel games in round 22, Carlton game will be a Saturday night I reckon and will crack 70K imo.
  5. Thursday night game is at 7:20 not 7:50. Dees been shafted for the Swans game.
  6. We couldn't buy another Friday night game this year. Thursday night against Brisbane will ensure we don't get more than 35k.
  7. The Brisbane game I think is a lock for Friday night. The Swans game may end up as a Sunday 3:20 or Saturday night. They have two Friday night games in a row before they play us and we play Monday the week after.
  8. Also remember that it is a replacement home game for Hawthorn members. Can expect 45K (maybe 50) against Hawthorn and hopefully 40K against the Saints on mothers day. I suspect a lot of Melbourne supporters who are accustomed to Sunday games will go. We got 53K against the Saints in 2017 on the 1:10 slot when it was 9th vs 10th and a battle to make the 8.
  9. Think we should be expecting a similar mid season drop off as last season. Imagine that Selwyn will be following a similar regime to burgess. don’t think we complaining if we are top 2 with a 18-4 season.
  10. All of the reserved seat packages with GF guarantee have sold out. Was a about 3 weeks ago I believe.
  11. Ah, you should have waited till this morning. They were selling bays Q48-Q40 up to row X and when they sold out last night they only updated the system this morning. Now, all bays level 4 MCC Q37-Q48 are available up to the very back (row MM). Perhaps buy three free junior tickets together so you can sit with each other? Hate that this game is category 1 in the MCC, it won't come close to selling out. 70K looks a reach at the moment.
  12. Can get at ground but may be easier if you get on ticketek get now. Costs about $22
  13. First of all you are incorrect regarding when I posted. Tickets in the AFL reserve and MCC went on sale well before I posted and the sales in the MCC are still not good. They still haven't sold out level 1 in the AFL and level 4 will be 80% empty. MCC still haven't opened up half the bays on level 4. Tickets for away members and Richmond members went on sale before I posted as well. There were 5 bays that sold out in that process, M7-M9 and M28-M29. You seem to think this is our home game, it is not. Yes there will be a very small proportion of our members who have away GA access who will receive GA tickets on the app 3 days before. But that is a very small amount of people. So your point on reserved seat holders is rubbish because it is not our home game. I know exactly how the process works for ticketing so get off your high horse and stop trying to explain it to me. This will be another disappointing road because of Covid, ticketing process and Richmond fans not turning up.
  14. Not hugely but it will add to the narrative of our poor crowds this year. fwiw I think there will be at least 20K of us there.
  15. Not amazing, mainly because provisional members don’t have access in mcc. Looks like a 60k crowd. 70 would be a brilliant effort will be very interesting to see how full (empty) the level 1 Richmond member reserved area seating is.
  16. Demon army put a post out for ticketing this week. They have all of bay m33 so if you are interested sitting level 1 and only with Melbourne supporters book through this link. More info on their Facebook page. https://www.trybooking.com/BYYPP
  17. Saints got 18k, would hate to be less Than that. Haven’t seen the members this empty in a long time, must all be in Mornington.
  18. I sit 2a in the afl reserve though. There will be no seats on 2a available in general public for this game coz it’s all reserved seats areas for Richmond members.
  19. Level 4 AFL was definitely open against Essendon, its shut tonight. Level 2A for me always though.
  20. There is walk up in MCC tonight. 25K will be a brilliant crowd all things considered.
  21. Apologies for autocorrect, now changed to ticketek. Basically Richmond reserved seat bays are M50-M57 M1-3 M5-M6 M10-M15 and all level 2 and 2A in GSS and Olympic. Unfortunately for this game they didn't allow you to select your own bay. M7-M9 sold out in the general public on sale very fast, suspect a lot of melbourne home and away members will be sat there. They put on m28-M36 in the Ponsford opening up each bay at a time and are currently at M35. Those are the only Level 1 tickets available to non away game members, there will be a lot of us sitting there. Looks about a 60K crowd to me, if both us and richmond win today it might top 70K.
  22. A few reasons: You can go on ticketek and see what they are selling as reserved. MCC is a huge tell for our games whether it will crack 70K and because to is Category 1 they only at row s level 4 on a few bays Pax number on ticket Is the biggest give away. AFL reserve also barely sold anything on level 4 and haven't sold out level 1
  23. "good sides get rewarded with prime time" [censored] off afl. Melbourne Fremantle is currently 1st v 3rd. Richmond are bang average and Sydney arent great. I know we aren't on because its two smaller clubs.
  24. Reckon you can lock in North sunday 1:10 and Freo Saturday 2:10. Expect a lot of our last 10 games are gonna be Friday/Sat nights. Brisbane twice, Geelong, Dogs, Carlton, Sydney, Fremantle over there, potentially even pies round 21.
  25. some time this week according to HS
