All the unused Corporate allocations have gone on sale in the AFL Reserve and Public Reserve which are about 150 tickets to be sold mainly in category 1. These will all sell out by tonight hopefully which leaves: Level 1, 2 and 2A hopefully all sold out again by tonight Level 4: Q1-Q6 Rows A-Y Sold (Z-DD on Sale) Q7-Q15 1/2 Sold Out Q15 1/2-Q21 Rows A-T sold (Afl Reserve) Q22-Q27 Rows A-J Sold (Afl Reserve) Q28-Q30 Sold Out Q31-Q34 Rows A-KK Sold (LL-MM on Sale) Q35-Q48 Sold Out Q49-Q55 Rows A-BB Sold (CC-MM not on sale but I could be mistaken here) Q56-Q57 Sold Out Still think it will be high 70s but hoping to be wrong and it gets to 80.

2022 Finals Tickets
You will be able to walk up, as a full member you will have walk up access to all of level 3, most of level 2 which is walk up and the level 1 walk up sections. Queues will probabaly start quite early so if you want to sit on one of the balconies you’d best get there quite early. seating plan for finals in MCC is below

2022 Finals Tickets
The club was hoping for 85-90 against Collingwood and that ended up being 70. There are too many areas of the ground with large amounts of unsold seats for it to get to 84K imo. AFL reserve will have 4K unsold seats on Level 4, Northern stand has 1.75K seats not on sale, Ponsford has 864 seats not sold and Southern has 1512 that havent been sold. That already gets us to over 8K empty areas. Then there are the MCC double dippers which will reduce the MCC capacity by 2K at least and standing room all up of about 5K not used. That gives me a max attendance of 83.5K and that assumes that everybody who has a ticket attends and corporate/medallion club allocations are all used up. Of course there will be more sales which hopefully mean another 500+ tickets are sold. I reckon it will be 75K which would still be an incredible crowd but will secretly be hoping for 80K+

2022 Finals Tickets
There is the chance they are playing funny buggers with which rows go on sale (ie every second row to make it look more full) but it appears they are selling every row so this is what has been sold: Level 1 - All Sold (Afl Reserve, General Public, Expected MCC full Level 1) Level 2 and 2A Sold out (Afl Reserve and General Public, Expect MCC to be full there) Level 4: MCC sold out Q35-Q48 Ponsford Q29-Q30 Sold Out Ponsford Q31-Q34 rows A-BB Sold (CC-MM not on sale) Northern Q49-Q55 rows A-BB Sold (CC-MM not on Sale) Northern Q56-Q57 Sold out Southern Q11-Q15 Sold out Southern Q7-Q10 Rows A-BB Sold (CC-DD will be sold out by tonight) Southern Q1-Q6 Rows A-T sold (U-DD on sale but untouched) AFL Reserve Q15-Q19 Rows A-U Sold AFL Reserve Q20-Q27 Rows A-J Sold Q28 Sold out Reckon Level 4 is overall about 60% sold so: 35K level 1 + 10K level 2/2A + 25K Level 4 gets you to 70K I think its going to surprise people how big our crowd is (possibly north of 75K). Also people should have a look at the Bulldogs V Crows 2015 final which had 60K and the MCC was empty and most of level 4 was empty. We have sold heaps more than that game.

2022 Finals Tickets
The MCC informs the Afl/Ticketek which bays are to go on sale and they are the bays in that map. It is not generic it is specific to the 2022 finals series weeks 1-3.

2022 Finals Tickets
When I was on, the green shaded area was for all the bays rows A-MM, except Q47 and Q48 because rows A-H are dry bays and are sold separately so that is what you may have seen? This is per the MCC website for our game: "A dedicated amount of walk up seating will be available on Levels 1, 2 and 3 the Members’ Reserve. Reserved seats will be sold on demand. Any unsold seats will become additional walk -up areas. To view the Members’ Reserve seating map, please click here." No mention of level 4 and the reserved seating map expects level 4 to all be reserved seating. They used to have half of level 4 as walk top but that was from rows Z-MM not the other way round which would just be stupid. We will see next Thursday when they post their walk up areas but I suspect you are wrong.

Not sure what you are talking about. All of level 4 in the mcc went up for reserved seating.

2022 Finals Tickets
MCC reserved seating this year was 14/23K and that was further extended by 1.6K into the Ponsford so I imagine the MCC will be packed. Its the AFL that wont be full on level 4.

2022 Finals Tickets
Correct, they usually let the bays that are currently on sale fill up to about 75% and then will start putting more into the system. I suspect what is currently on sale will sell out and maybe a little bit more.

2022 Finals Tickets
Not quite, they havent put a fair portion of the ground on sale. Q31-Q34 rows Q-MM not on sale yet Q49-Q55 Rows BB-MM not on sale yet Q1-Q6 rows U-DD not on sale yet Afl Reserve Q18-Q27 rows K-DD not on sale yet Looks a 65K crowd to me but hope to be wrong.

They sell M3 as category 7 because it’s a dry bay not because it’s restricted view.

2022 Finals Tickets
As a comparison to other finals in the last few years for games against interstate clubs at the G Geelong v West Coast 2019 SF - 52K Collingwood V GWS 2019 PF - 77K Collingwood V GWS 2018 SF - 72K Geelong V Sydney 2017 SF - 55K Richmond V GWS 2017 PF - 94K Geelong V Sydney 2016 PF - 72K WB V Adelaide 2015 EF - 61K Hawthorn V Adelaide 2015 PF - 71K When you remove the Prelims which will always attract larger crows and especially the Richmond outlier, you would probably find that 70K would be an outstanding achievement. If it is true that 38K tickets were sold in the public reserve I think that is more than achievable. Come game day that number will hopefully be 45K+ 23K in the MCC reserve (extended into Q35-Q36 Ponsford)+10K in the AFL (8K empty most likely but may be more full by then) ends up at 78K. Worst case scenario will be 40K public tickets with a 70K crowd. The mind boggles at how many people crawl out the woodwork for finals. Expect to be an extremely pro Melbourne crowd, hopefully 60K of us. Finals crowds are going to be huge this year because we haven't been able to go for 3 years.

2022 Finals Tickets
No the way they do it sell all of level 4 front which for finals is Q15-Q27 rows A-J. When that’s all gone they put up level 4 middle 2 bays at a time. So they might sell up to row U. but level 4 back which is row U-DD probabaly won’t go on sale
-
2022 Finals Tickets
Afl members is not even close to selling out. Level 4 Q16-Q27 rows K-DD are not even on sale yet. There are also at least 500 unused corp allocation that always go on sale 3 days before the game. Its basically 65% sold, the exact same as Anzac Eve was. Reckon crowd will be another 70K like Pies, Anzac eve, dreamtime.

2022 Finals Tickets
Yes against interstate teams and St Kilda it was possible, but most of level 2 and 2A will be full, even the Medallion Club next Friday
-
2022 Finals Tickets
Level exhausted so far because only 3 bays actually go on sale and 3 under cover sections. Most of level 1 is walk up on the day
-
2022 Finals Tickets
Maybe but we have bought out almost all of Sydney Level 1,2 and 2A allocation so there are a lot more Melbourne members who crawl out for finals

2022 Finals Tickets
If you wants a hint as to how diluted it actually is, it was once called the AFL Members Reserve and now is just the AFL Reserve. Every man and their dog are able to access the reserve if they are an interstate member. Richmond Premium members can access it too for away games... Then they gave P15-P20 to the Medallion club which are always empty. I understand that I can get Medallion Clubs in N19 which are incredible but woulkd rather have level 2 and 2A back with us members. My old Man been an AFL Member since it became a thing and he gets beyond pissy that we lost the best seats on 2A.

Woo P22 AFL reserve, was hoping for P21 but I also have 2 Medallion clubs in N19 so I am chuffed. Hope I am not surrounded by South Melbourne grubs again in the AFL reserve

2022 Finals Tickets
For anyone struggling with getting tickets in Melbourne allocation. The reason everything becomes unavailable is because they are loading more bays into the system for sale. E.g., half of Sydneys bays in the Southern Stand M8-10 have become available for Melbourne members and more bays on level 4 Northern stand have gone on sale. Be patient, everyone will get tickets for this game.

2022 Finals Tickets
If anyone is unable to get good seats in Melbourne bays, click on Sydney allocation and there are heaps available still. Suspect those bays will be filled with red and blue anyway
-
2022 Finals Tickets
The problem is that for the onsale 50% of tickets go to Sydney so their cat 1 seats wont be full and then when they go on sale to public at 3pm youd be able to get them
