There are going to be extremely limited general admission areas. Something like Q1-Q6 rows Q-DD and Q31-Q36 rows AA-MM. Would be safer reserving for this game
-
Everything I said is based on the 7afl post about the fixture which is that: Carlton won't get more than 1 Friday night (which is the round 20 game), Melbourne/Collingwood/Adelaide/Brisbane to be major beneficiaries. So on your point, Carlton v Port wont be, Collingwood game won't be clearly, Sydney aren't going to get good fixturing at 3-5, so it will be us or the Cats.

The way they do sales is staggered and bay by bay. Currently they have sold all of level 1, level 4 Q1-Q15 bays A-J, Q49-Q55 rows A-U and Q56-Q57 are sold. They havent sold the back of Level 4 yet. They will put on Q49-Q55 rows V-MM soon and there will be no GA access in the Olympic stand and potentially also the Southern stand. Ponsford is yet to go on sale but only availability will be level 4 rows M-Back. It looks like the crowd is going to be close to 90,000, I have never seen so many reserved seats sold for a Melbourne game a month before the game. If you wait until closer to the game some seats in M4 and M53 may go on sale to Melbourne GA members if not all of those were reserved as part of the Blockbuster memberships. You can message the Demon Army on Facebook and see if they will have any availability, all of M3 will be reserved for them.

As explained above, Richmond will be a Sunday because the Bledisloe game is on the Saturday night at the MCG and Carlton Collingwood are rumoured to have been given the Friday night in round 20. Carlton will be a Saturday night because apparently, they have only been given 1 Friday night game after round 16. I think Brisbane and Adelaide might both end up as Friday night games given the whispers Channel 7 have been talking about. Otherwise, Crows game is a lock for Saturday 2:10.

Lets hope these three men - Wayne Henwood, Stephen Jurica, Richard Loveridge - have some form of common sense as ex-footballers/lawyers. They are the appeals board members.

Not really strange considering the AFL told us there would be Thursday night games from round 1-6 and during the Byes. They aren't going to change their fixture format because everybody wants them to, if they operated like that Van Rooyen would be free to play already. We will have to wait till next year for Thursday nights every week.

Round 20 game against Richmond all but confirmed to be Sunday 3:20 with Carlton Collingwood getting the Friday night and Bledisloe on Saturday.
-
They may say that, but Ill eat grass if Steven May is actually 100% fit. Looks like hes playing with a dildo up his backside
-
He was dreadful last year when rushed back into the side. Needs a month at Casey (considering their bye this week) and can come back after the bye, not sure we want his first game back against the Pies (or cats for that matter) where it will be extremely fast paced. We are not in a position where we are forced to play him underdone.

Why are we surprised by Christian being a [censored]? He hates us and always has, look at Hogan and Lewis getting three weeks in 2017 against Carlton when Carlton lied about Cripps' broken jaw. Hope this is the shortest tribunal case of all time.
-
Richmond has to be Friday night or Sunday because of the Bledisloe game at the MCG on the Saturday night. Carlton Collingwood is the other MCG game and they love putting that one at Sunday 3:20. Hawthorn should be Saturday 2:10pm imo as our last home game which will bring the greatest crowd.
-
You have to wait for the bays to become available. For Anzac eve M4 only came up a couple weeks before the game. otherwise click on general public and reserve level 4 from there. Level 1 and level 4 front is exhausted for Collingwood. There is going to be very little GA for this game.
-
Against Richmond Melbourne GA members could put their barcode in and reserve for $28. I believe the same system will be in place for Kings Birthday. The blockbuster membership gave access to reserved seats in M53 and M4 so the same system will apply against Collingwood. But it was basically empty against North and probably for the rest of our home games so something needs to be worked out. I spoke to the Demon Army and they said a plan will be in place for M4 depending on the game. reckon you can just walk up in empty games with your Melbourne scarf and there won’t be a problem

Yes that is a chance but think it’s nearly a lock to get the saints on a Saturday night at marvel. Remember that st kilda have always been gifted good time slots. Personally think Essendon game will be Sunday 3:20.
-
I am not too fussed with them leaving the last 8 weeks floating, but after 7 weeks we have a pretty good grasp of what is going on. I am ok with 2.5 months of notice, but the fixture release said they would release round 16 "4-6 weeks before the round" which is ridiculous.
-
It’s a given now that it’s a Sunday 3:20 for channel 7 isn’t it. Means back to back 6 day breaks afterwards you’d think so that st kilda is a Saturday night and brisbane is a Friday night. Also can they release the fixture already. So many good sales on at the moment for Hobart.

Separately, we are also AFL members with MFC Club Support. Sit level 2A for all games and for smaller games like this will sit in the Level 2A medallion club which is empty around P17-P20 and it is full of older Melbourne fans who do the same.
-
Melourne member reserved seating areas for 2023 are: Olympic: M50-M53, N49, N52-N57 (some are corporate areas) GSS: M13-M16 1/2, N1-N14, P1-P14 For Saturday night M55-M57 will be GA as well as M4-M10.
-
need to be on separate lines, no spaces between lines tho
-
Does not appear to be the case, especially with Hawthorn having all of Level 1, 2 and 2A in the Olympic and Shane Warne stand as their reserved seating as well as some level 4 areas and some level 2 in the Ponsford. Think we will outnumber them anyway on the day.
-
Yes you will have a separate barcode listed in your account manager.
-
Log into your Melbourne account, click membership details and it has a line for round 9 replacement home game membership barcode.
-
As I said before, level 2a in the afl was a lot more even than level 1. Only time the afl is particularly unpleasant is against Collingwood. The Richmond fan base were very quiet and down last night I thought.
-
Ye I reckon it’ll be 33k, Saturday nights aren’t good for crowd drawing. It’ll have an interstate vibe to it I reckon, not many of them at all

Anyone thinking 40K against North Melbourne is dreaming, they will bring a max of 5K, not like Sydney who brought 10K. King's Birthday should get close to 90K if we could get 84K against a struggling Richmond.
