  1. Why are we surprised by Christian being a [censored]? He hates us and always has, look at Hogan and Lewis getting three weeks in 2017 against Carlton when Carlton lied about Cripps' broken jaw. Hope this is the shortest tribunal case of all time.
  2. Richmond has to be Friday night or Sunday because of the Bledisloe game at the MCG on the Saturday night. Carlton Collingwood is the other MCG game and they love putting that one at Sunday 3:20. Hawthorn should be Saturday 2:10pm imo as our last home game which will bring the greatest crowd.
  3. You have to wait for the bays to become available. For Anzac eve M4 only came up a couple weeks before the game. otherwise click on general public and reserve level 4 from there. Level 1 and level 4 front is exhausted for Collingwood. There is going to be very little GA for this game.
  4. Against Richmond Melbourne GA members could put their barcode in and reserve for $28. I believe the same system will be in place for Kings Birthday. The blockbuster membership gave access to reserved seats in M53 and M4 so the same system will apply against Collingwood. But it was basically empty against North and probably for the rest of our home games so something needs to be worked out. I spoke to the Demon Army and they said a plan will be in place for M4 depending on the game. reckon you can just walk up in empty games with your Melbourne scarf and there won’t be a problem
  5. Yes that is a chance but think it’s nearly a lock to get the saints on a Saturday night at marvel. Remember that st kilda have always been gifted good time slots. Personally think Essendon game will be Sunday 3:20.
  6. I am not too fussed with them leaving the last 8 weeks floating, but after 7 weeks we have a pretty good grasp of what is going on. I am ok with 2.5 months of notice, but the fixture release said they would release round 16 "4-6 weeks before the round" which is ridiculous.
  7. It’s a given now that it’s a Sunday 3:20 for channel 7 isn’t it. Means back to back 6 day breaks afterwards you’d think so that st kilda is a Saturday night and brisbane is a Friday night. Also can they release the fixture already. So many good sales on at the moment for Hobart.
  8. Separately, we are also AFL members with MFC Club Support. Sit level 2A for all games and for smaller games like this will sit in the Level 2A medallion club which is empty around P17-P20 and it is full of older Melbourne fans who do the same.
  9. Melourne member reserved seating areas for 2023 are: Olympic: M50-M53, N49, N52-N57 (some are corporate areas) GSS: M13-M16 1/2, N1-N14, P1-P14 For Saturday night M55-M57 will be GA as well as M4-M10.
  10. need to be on separate lines, no spaces between lines tho
  11. Does not appear to be the case, especially with Hawthorn having all of Level 1, 2 and 2A in the Olympic and Shane Warne stand as their reserved seating as well as some level 4 areas and some level 2 in the Ponsford. Think we will outnumber them anyway on the day.
  12. Yes you will have a separate barcode listed in your account manager.
  13. Log into your Melbourne account, click membership details and it has a line for round 9 replacement home game membership barcode.
  14. As I said before, level 2a in the afl was a lot more even than level 1. Only time the afl is particularly unpleasant is against Collingwood. The Richmond fan base were very quiet and down last night I thought.
  15. Ye I reckon it’ll be 33k, Saturday nights aren’t good for crowd drawing. It’ll have an interstate vibe to it I reckon, not many of them at all
  16. Anyone thinking 40K against North Melbourne is dreaming, they will bring a max of 5K, not like Sydney who brought 10K. King's Birthday should get close to 90K if we could get 84K against a struggling Richmond.
  17. nah not even close to correct. AFL reserve we are always outnumbered, would have been about 40K of us, 35K of them and the rest neutrals. Mcc was a 90/10 split our way, level 2A of the AFL was about 60:40 to them and level 4 GA areas were completely red. Our reserved seat areas were also 95% full. At a minimum we had 10K in our reserved seat areas, 18K in the MCC, 10K in GA/level 4. already at 38K with that. Northern side of the ground was nearly entirely Melbourne. Very difficult to judge when sitting in the AFL reserve because it feels louder for them because that's where they are sitting. Even the Level 1 reserved seats for general public had at least 25% Melbourne support in them.
  18. They opened up afl members level 4 back to general admission overflow which is why it was full.
  19. Well done dees fans, awesome crowd and outnumbered them too.
  20. Ye they sold out all of M53 with the blockbuster memberships. They put the bay on sale yesterday with hat hadnt been sold and it was about 10 single seats. M4 is a melbourne only bay for tonight but not very full atm.
  21. Absolutely ;) But if you want to be in the first few rows of the punt road end i would suggest getting to the ground before 6:30. The final GA areas have been announced and there isnt a lot
  22. Updated Expected GA areas for Anzac Eve - All Level 4, ticket sales been good the last few days, a lot more reserved seat areas on level 4 now. GSS: Q1-Q7, Q8-Q15 1/2 rows U-DD Ponsford: Q31-Q36 rows U-MM Olympic: Q49-Q55 rows AA-MM Afl Reserve: Q15 1/2-Q27 rows U-DD, Q28 rows K-DD MCC, usual level 1,2,3. Level 4 may be completely ticketed at this rate. General Admission sales for non-members have also been exhausted in the MCC and General Public.
  23. In response to your other question, yes the reserved seat would remain empty. it is highly unlikely that we outnumber Richmond. If we can break even that will be a good effort. I am thinks 35k of us and them and around 5k neutrals.
  24. Updated Expected GA areas for Anzac Eve - All Level 4 GSS: Q1-Q7, Q8-Q15 1/2 rows P-DD Ponsford: Q29-Q30 all rows. Q31-Q36 rows M-MM Olympic: Q49-Q55 rows U-MM (might end up rows AA-MM) Afl Reserve: Q15 1/2-Q25 rows U-DD, Q26-Q28 rows K-DD MCC, usual level 1,2,3. Level 4 may be completely ticketed at this rate. General Admission sales for non-members have also been exhausted in the MCC and General Public. Will most likely be on MCG website on Saturday. Based on these sales, crowd should be above 75K.
  25. Based on Current sales it will be: GSS: Q1-Q7, Q8-Q15 1/2 rows P-DD Ponsford: Q29-Q36 (maybe M30-M31) Olympic: Q49-Q55 rows U-MM (might end up rows AA-MM) Afl Reserve: Q15 1/2-Q23 rows U-DD, Q24-Q28 rows K-DD MCC, usual level 1,2,3. Level 4 may be completely ticketed at this rate. Will most likely be on MCG website on Saturday.
