  1. Look I agree that guy Cripps def a Sub at the D's but what happens to Bedford who is our usual Sub ? Well guess it's a toss up as to whether we play Cripps or Bedford..
  2. Chris Scott will be the next GWS Coach. End of story.
  3. Yes, I do not believe he would walk into a Melbourne outfit. You cannot compare him to BBB or even No 2 B
  4. That's a "given" Plus some. I really think we are commenting on something that has not happened as yet. Brayshaw in my mind stays. The family are here and he is happy at the D's. Jackson still living in the "I can't believe it World" Seriously, looking forward for us to get more than the quality 5 year window with the players we have on the list now we need to continue adding quality players each year to our list. It then becomes a difficult journey to recruit exceptional players. Look at who we recruited when we were either last or even third last... Oliver, Tracca, Brayshaw, May, Viney, ........... the list goes on.....
  5. His brother could always come play for the Demons and that way Gus would be able to stay at the D's and have his brother beside him. Problem solved.
  6. Interesting article by The Age writer but two things stick out. Old Harry is overseas and I think he sees it that he is protected by the absence of the Press at this juncture and secondly the man is running away from his comments and all that comes down to in my mind a very unstable person who cannot move forward and wants revenge by way of Corporate heads.. like the CFC.
  7. In this instance all facts were asked to be tabled as late as 2021 and on numerous occasions in prior years.. so that mediation could commence both at AFL with Legal Counsel and also at C'wood - which they botched anyway . Buckley even acknowledges now that exact point to Harry yesterday. It is a legal practice in all cases that all facts are brought to the table before a case moves forward in litigation. I feel that Harry may have some mental or personal issues in the handling of this matter, he seems also to be lacking the backup support for his well being in this matter which is sad. Bringing up supposed "facts" after the event is not accepted in a Court of Law where that could be construed to be "double jeopardy" in a Trial. The "Do better report" only inflamed the fire in his belly and I agree he had the right to defend himself again from any comments made "from the other side - being Collingwood" but he needs to come to peace with a process, rightly or wrongly and move forward knowing that in his heart he has settled a grievance. There can be no winners only heartache. Mediation would seem to be now the only solution and sensible path ahead. If this was in fact a failed marriage, that is how it would proceed and a Judge would order it so.
  8. No you guys obviously have not caught up with the news.. The Demons are now allowed to play 23 on field 100 % of the game as authorised by the AFL so no no one will get dropped.
  9. As a thought I would give Maxie the two weeks off and have Jackson ruck. T Mc could ruck if needed. I would bring in a small in his place.
  10. But look at the different way Collingwood handled a guy like Lumumba compared to the Demons way. I honestly feel it takes two to tango and by that I mean that there must have been an infestation at C'wood when it comes to angst against Lumumba.
  11. Just a hunch. Maybe that is why Daw was pulled from the Casey game so that he did not get injured. Ready for next week ? I see Gawny is going for scans on Monday.
  12. So where does Salem fit into the mould.
  13. my view is that whilst I have no issues with the guy when at Melbourne, because our integrity is beyond reproach always, I feel that he maybe losing some traction with his case against the Colliewobbles or that he wants more attention by the Press on his claims. A Court of Law would ask the same questions as to " why bring these matters forth now" ?
  14. Look, most players play / sign for 2 year deals especially if they are in their younger years, why would they not ?? Gives them time to improve and warrant a higher Contract base. 15. are you serious ? in the real world we are not....
  16. I really think that your comments are very harsh but when you have a team that has very few quality players then you get the results you deserve. fyi:- Roosey is on the Board and I am sure he has some input. Look at us... it took for 2013 to 2018 to see permanent change.
  17. I don't think you are being fair to Roosey and I do not see your point re the reply post where I commented on five worst coaches performance. Frankly there is no way I would speak ill of Roosey at all and frankly his win/loss margins are a reflection of the times he took over in 2013/4. His last two games as Coach are the last points I would ever think of raising in the context of my reply post you commented on as Roosey turned this Club around and I applaud him and worship the guy. Just saying.
  18. I reckon they are in about the same order I would rate them. The ones I would prefer to forget (but nice blokes) (in order) 1. Mark Neeld - 33 games for 5 wins 28 losses. 2. Dennis Jones - 22 Games for 5 wins and 17 losses 3. Bob Skilton - 88 Games for 28 wins and 60 losses 4. Neil Craig - 11 Games for 1 win and 10 losses 5. Mark Riley (by default and because I had to match you with 5 others ) - 9 games for 1 win and 8 losses.
  19. I agree the conversation re TMac's mark is completely overblown. Playing at the highest level of footy dictates that you do not take anything by chance or for granted...and in TMac's case here he had his eyes on the ball 100% and did not think about any error possibility situation that the Ball may have gone through the Goal line if he had not marked. Safety first, if's and but's last.
