I have to say first I have not watched the Dee Girls this season but every time I put on a game to see the score ( which is haphazard ) I strike a game like Last weekend. 15 minute mark of the last quarter Roo's vs Cats and the score was 14 points vs 12 points. It was terrible with both teams gathering the ball and blindly kicking  into there forward line only to be marked by the opposition who did exactly the same thing. Now this was a finals match good help me if it had been two poor teams,  I know you will all say I picked a poor game but that is all I seem to  get. I hope you all enjoy watching but it ain't for me I am afraid.

OD I'm unsure if anyone has mentioned this previously but I've noticed you have a residential address listed under your avatar, is it a Deementia unit?

Soft  @demon3165? Maybe some people in this world are just sick of constantly being on the receiving end

As some have noted, this thread is devoid of humour and so I feel compelled to inject my own feeble contribution.

Do you own a pair of moccasins and are you likely to wear them in public?

    Are you a MCC member?

Is the reason you are sick of being on the receiving end more associated with you being a teacher (sorry that wasn't funny).

Please, please tell me you're not thinking of becoming a postal worker?

Taken in last year’s mid season draft, the talented key defender from Albury was Melbourne’s only first year AFL player but lasted less than half a game after suffering a facial injury against Collingwood. Returned to play in Casey’s premiership and is considered a prospect for the future.

Date of Birth: 28 January 2002
    Height: 194cm
    Weight: 88kg

    Games MFC 2022: 1
    Career Total: 1

    Goals MFC 2022: 0
    Career Total: 0

    Games CDFC 2022: 11
    Goals CDFC 2022: 1

Been keeping a close watch on Daniel and had the opportunity to have a chat with him at the B&F. I asked if he had grown at all since arriving and he said he was now 195cm. Also asked about working with May and he was very appreciative of the help and instruction he was getting from him. He is a terrific young fellow and definitely has that determined look about him when he is out on the field. I can see him getting more chances next year.

Add daisy, paxy, bannon and hanks (who has the one thing that only the best players have - time) and that is a significant core of highly skilled, hi footy iq players.

She also seems to have found a yard in pace and now has some serious closing speed and speed away from the contest. This aspect and the better skills and connection, could be attributed to the extra dollars and importantly the extra time training together and developing individuals.

or he can keep his source to himself and keep providing information.  He has some form from the past and gets some inside info. if you don't want to read it either ignore him or block him but others like me want to hear it

Thanks for the sage advice, I'll take that onboard however I will remain cynical when people make statements and then won't back them up. I posted that Hunt wasn't happy and that's because that's what he told Mrs Dw at the B&F. She should have asked him if he knocked back a 2 yr deal several weeks ago and then we might or might not have some clarity. By the by I'm not asking him not to post information but if it's from a report in the Media I think it's far enough that that is stated. If it's a confidential source he could always state that instead of being ........ defensive.

None of your business where I get my information from.  Just because you don’t like what you read, doesn’t make it untrue.  So jog on buddy because you are the only person who has no idea.

Actually I asked about your source when you first said he was offered a contract and you never replied. So I to call BS and you can jog on. You would be better off to just fess up that you were mistaken.

This is really disappointing to me and in a way doesn't make sense.

We're happy to push out Jayden Hunt but then resign Joel Smith to a bloody 2 year deal who's body is quite fragile.

At worse, Jayden Hunt would still be solid depth next year.

Completely agree and I said to Mrs Dw; Smith better be available for 23 games next season because that is who has pushed Hunt out.

This was always going to be a difficult year considering who was out of contract and the fact we need to find 3 draft spots every year. I will need some convincing that Melksham and Hibberd will  perform at the required level all of next season. To my mind Bedford might of signed for 3 years if Melksham was retired. Essentially we are granting a player one more year at the expense of a player we offered 3 yrs to and who is still very young and raw. Is giving an ageing player one year worth the potential of developing a young player?

I'd have had no problem with keeping him but fully understand why he's chosen to go elsewhere.

Mrs Dw spoke to him at the B&F, he didn't "chose" to go elsewhere he was really disappointed to be pushed out.

WCW, I am concerned about you being there. We might have to call the Fire Brigade to dous your flames! Maybe myself and Uncle Bitter could be called on to chaperone you to ensure some propriety! 😇👨‍🚒🌅🔥

I can't say I've ever heard the word "propriety" mentioned in the same sentence as Uncle Bitters!

    Interesting statement.

’However, as the allegations against me have been spread widely and sometimes as indisputable matters of facts,  I must state that my clear memory of the matters reported is very different’

So it’s not categorical denial that the matters occurred at all, it’s going to be about the character of what was said in so far as what was implied and what was inferred.

If it straight up didn’t happen, he would come out and categorically deny the allegations.

It really comes down to an issue of control/power. What do I see as the best course for player x that will see the best outcome for the Club and I (the person in control/power)? Then dress that behavior up as "this will be great/good for player x and then talk in we language. "We had the best intentions to help player x achieve success".

You don't need to go very far to see similar behaviors in the likes of the Military, Police and other organizations.

They will try and spin this but this is master vs slave stuff. Although this is now historical and perhaps the perpetrators have changed their ways. This still needs to be called out and reparations need to be made. Regardless of who is held responsible, from what I've read it's clear harm has been done. The first defence is deny, deny, deny. That will only make things worse. At the very least, an acknowledgement of the harm done should be made, even without an admission of guilt. Those being accused at the moment are more interested in trying to make themselves look like victims and that's not going to fly.

    afl-accredited grounds...

    1. nsw (+ act) - scg, blacktown, olympic park (+ manuka)
    2. queensland - gabba, carrara, cairns
    3. vic - mcg, docklands
    4. tas - hobart, launceston
    5. nt - darwin, alice
    6. sa - adelaide oval
    7. wa - perth stadium

i think we safely know which (non-)football state gil wants to bid the most

So Geelong and Ballarat aren't accredited?

Its called having an opinion and a valid one. If you disagree that's your call but the AFLW acted with no class and Daisy tried to justify it.

If you read what I wrote and actually understood it, I believe Daisy has pondered the decision that was made and could understand and empathise with it. Just a hypothetical question but do you think Queen Elizabeth II really cares?

You have obviously determined I don't have valid opinion, so jog on sunshine.
