I agree. It sounded shallow and scripted. I'm no royalist btw but for mine , Daisy has lost some credibility.

I think the only one losing credibility here is you and your comments are at best disingenuous. To suggest her comments were shallow more highlights your own shallowness than anything. If you think it sounded scripted then I think you need to listen again and pick up the feeling with which it was said. I thought it was clear that she had pondered at length the reasoning behind the decision and come to the conclusion that the decision that was made was completely understandable. She then expressed that understanding in a forthright and articulate manner. You could do well to ask the maid what she thinks of Daisy and her comments, you might find it instructive, even beneficial. Then again I could be completely wrong (about the maid bit, not about Daisy).

Of course all the above could be disregarded if BBO is simply stirring the pot, which is a distinct possibility. In which case; I will dismount my stead and scurry back into my holier than thou cave.

I would be flummoxed if there's a Lander that doesn't think Uncle is loverly WCW.

I'm a bit perplexed by this comment. The fact no grammar/ punctuation has been used means I'm forced to decipher the intent.

Are you saying Uncle is the loverly WCW? If so, I can categorically say that WCW is loverly (lovely) but is not Uncle, although I would pay money to see them meet.

If you're saying Uncle is loverly and every Lander thinks so, then I think you have miss read a number of posters. I have no doubt however that the Maid is lovely considering what she is subjected to.

For all AFL clubs it’s the 1% of bad supporters that give the other 99% a bad name. The exceptions of course are Collingwood/Carlton/Essendon/Richmond/West Coast where 99% give the other 1% a bad name.

Lets not forget Port Adelaide supporters in that. I have a mate who is in the 1% and he agrees with me.

    Thanks, dworship.

I can't remember the sequence of what I did.  Sometimes, I tried 'best available' and sometimes 'category 1' and always got Mxx bays.   Even when I clicked on an N bay I ended up with tickets in Mxx bays.

    Maybe I need a lesson🙂 .

Hopefully better for the next game.

Yes, my experience of 2018 has definitely helped and my experimenting for this game has added to that. Tonight as a further experiment I logged in to test something else. So I chose a bay up in the nose bleeds and selected for 2 tickets and it brought up 2 seats together on the seat map and as I've seen before it only showed those seats as available. I then went back and changed my request to 4 seats. I got 4 seats together in a different area of the same bay. This confirms to me that there are often more seats available than offered at any given time.

I can confirm that I will never chose the "Best Available" option in the future as I believe that was much of my problems in 2018

No mention of that premier ski resort, Thredbo, as part of our our snow get aways.

It has better runs and apreski, than Buller, though Buller is best for families and kids.

Haven't skied in Australia for 15yrs. I get a bit upset when I miss part of preseason sking OS.

In this thread I've read that the 'queue' isn't really a queue, getting through is somewhat random. I can vouch for that got through a lot faster on a mobile device than a laptop which shouldn't happen if there was a proper queue.

Also someone said that if the system allocates tickets to someone and they don't take them, they don't return to being 'available' for x minutes; don't recall how many.

Maybe I got caught up in all that randomness...

Sorry I just edited my previous and asked if you chose "Best available". What I was getting at was; when the Map comes up on the left you get a number of options regarding seating prices. I can't remember wether you hover or click on the price option you are after but the the map highlights the bays available in the chosen catagory. The highlighting isn't very good and can be missed. When you see a bay you like you can click on it if it's highlighted and it will take you to the available seats in that Bay. I don't believe it shows you all the available seats like Ticetmaster.

I got through at about 10.15/20 having waited half an hour, then selected the Premium Member option and put in two Redleg Member barcodes and requested 1 ticket each.  The system sent me through to level 1 in M xx bays.  No choice given of bay or seat.  I tried several times and each time the system gave me ground level Mxx bays.

I assumed all premium tickets had been sold in the first 15 minutes (probably to members buying up to an extra 9 tickets per bar code).

Maybe Redleg memberships aren't considered 'premium'...

Weird, I got my 2 tickets off one Redleg barcode at 1025. N7 row C. They were the first seats that came up but N6 seats were also available.

I do agree Lucy, it's a crap system and I had a similar experience to yours in 2018 however I don't believe the "Premium" option was available back then.

I just re read your post and realized you may have taken a different option to me. Did you click the "best available" option?

I've also concluded that selecting 'The Premium Member' option for barcodes doesn't allocate premium seats.  Not sure why they even have it.  Maybe it is to make people feel good ala saying we are in a queue for tickets but it turns out to be random.  It really is first in best dressed!  I wouldn't mind that if there wasn't the 10 ticket per member sale thing going on.

Not sure what you based this conclusion on but in my experiment the "Premium Member" option gave completely different bay choices compared with the "MFC Member" when logging in 6mins apart. I did this a number of times to confirm. I also only ever saw  "Bay N" bays listed when logged in as a Premium Member.

No doubt you are correct Dr. and it is the MCC or AfL make these decisions.

However, it is up to the club to represent its members. Surely the MFC is not without influence. Further, I'm sure other clubs have similar issues. It would be interesting to see how, say, the filth supporters went when purchasing their finals tickets today.

The AFL should ultimately represent the clubs who in turn, represent their members.

If I remember correctly last time the Tigers played finals only 1 out of 3 members got a ticket and they had to go in a lottery. I'm really glad I made a donation to the Club buying Redleg memberships during the COVID period.

Question about todays sale. You could have clicked on Sydney member and got tickets after putting the barcode in. So if we had played the Pies would they have taken all our tickets as well.

Don't know for sure but I doubt it as it is our "Home game"

There is a hiatus between 2 and 3 pm when Members sales ended and General Public opens.

It will be interesting to see what public seats become available. The hiatus is just weird, if there are member seats still available surely a Member should be able to purchase one even after 2pm.

I wouldn't be surprised at all if the AFL just tells clubs that Home and Away is their time to shine and make money and the finals is theirs.

Yes and I think we try to do packages to make a bit of extra. Associated with all this I understand the Grand Final winner gets a cheque from the AFL but do the other finalists?

The map appears on Ticketek but while it allows you to click on a bay when the actual tickets come up they are somewhere else completely.

Were you able to get tickets allocated in the bay you selected on the map?

Yes, but map said they were the only 2 available

Yep that's not bad. Pretty good view as Bombay said, opposite the 50m arc. Punt road end also equals the cheer squad end and just above the Premium Members area. You should be able to hear me from there.

In a Prelim or GF scenario you just take what you get first up in category 1 or what have you, to much of a risk going in the queue again.

It's gut wrenching waiting in the queue.

And Ticketek have just made a liar out of me. I just did a mock selection again and a seating map came up. That definitely didn't come up this morning.

Just trying to learn for the next game.

I tried to get 3rd tier seats that were located in the northern stand (Q59 -Q53) - which would have given me seats close to the front on the top stand (I like the ‘tv’ view).  I got allocated seats on the ground level at the Punt Rd end (M4) - which also is categorised as ‘3rd tier’

When choosing seats is there a way you can direct  (or redirect from what you are allocated) to the part of the ground where you actually want to sit, or is it the luck of the draw?

Click on the available bay that you are interested in and you will be presented with seats in that area equal to how many seats you request (where possible). Ticketmaster gives you a seating map of each bay. Ticketek does not, you just get what you're given. If you want better seats in the same area you have to start again and see what comes up. Unfortunately the more you do this the more seats are locked for a period of time. What can I say it's a shizen system.

Pretty disappointed 18 year membership x 2 womens foundation member cheer squad member and  can only get 2 seperate seats in level 4

who in their wisdom allocates 10 tickets per membership

Melbourne membership are blaming afl yet you ring the afl they claim it’s a Melbourne request

    thanks Melbourne fc

Hi Tez, I don't really understand why. I just jumped on  and there are  7 bays on level 1 that have available seats and 2 bays on 2A. Can I ask what kind of Membership you hold?

  18. So I had a little experiment after I got my seats today. I purchased our tickets by using my Redleg barcode number and the below options came up. I then went back and used the 3 game membership barcode I had purchased for my Daughter during the home and away. I can confirm that the Premium option does not appear. I don't believe this was true back in 2018. So an improvement that recognizes those members. I can also confirm that Premium option offers different seating but you can still purchase standard seats if you prefer. I would surmise that the barcodes will be linked to the GF guarantee when we get to that stage.
