Look, he's either injured or he has inexplicably aged ten years. I don't get it but his pace is totally gone. If it's not an injury, he's simply genetically very unlucky to have lost all his pace this quickly. Captaincy worries or not, you don't lose so much speed unless there's seriously something wrong with your body.

Jack Grimes is having just as good a year as Jones is. It's clear now that Jack Trengove shouldn't have been made captain, but swapping Grimes for Jones would be pointless.

When Mark Neeld starts using excuses that aren't true, then you can sack him. Until then, he's just pointing out things we need to improve on. Isn't that his job?

Say anything you want about this team's skills, but bruise-free is one thing we're not. Add Dawes, Clark, Jetta, Magner and Couch and we'll start to see Neeld's "Hardest Team to Play Against" come to fruition.

Brisbane kicked poorly last week and it was our fault, so we come out and kick poorly this week and it's still our fault. WTF? It's not just kicking skills that matter, it's composure under pressure. We have none. It's getting to the point now where we need a good old fashioned goalkeeper just to stop those stupid over-the-back Carlton goals.

I rewatched our game against the Lions last week and noticed that Beamer was always matched up on one of the following four players: Jack Trengove, who is really young and still broke even when he was on him. Jordie McKenzie, who has no offensive side and thus didn't test Moloney's only weakness. Colin Sylvia, who has no defensive side and thus allowed Beamer way too much room to do his thing Matt Jones, who had his career worst game on the weekend. All in all, we have a F grade midfield and so it's only right that a D grade opponent would take us to the cleaners. Embarrassing, sure...but right all the same

At least you're giving her some encouragement... Let's not forget about Brock McLean. Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't this our first game against the Blues since his infamous On the Couch interview that put our entire club in the shite?

I'm excited to see what Jake Spencer can do. It's always a long time between games for him, but every time I see him he's about twice as good as he was the last time he played. Unfortunately he's starting from such a low base that by the time he's any good, I'll be dead.
