Right. Paul Roos could equally say we lost simply because we didn't convert our opportunities. To talk about one team's "hardness" being the reason they won is pretty disingenuous in a hard-fought game in the wet. And to say that Bernie Vince's treatment of Patrick Dangerfield would have resulted in Vince "going off in a stretcher" in the "bad old days" is basically saying "tough footy would be met with assault if it were up to me." Flogga!

In my opinion, good young players deserve game time. Bad young players shouldn't have game time wasted on them in the "hope" they'll get better, or to sell some idea of a glorious future that may or may not come.
