  1. It's definately 7:15pm. Like every other Saturday Night game in Melbourne this year. For some reason they've changed the starting time this year (from 7:10), without communicating it in full to the public.
  2. 7:15. I've been to the following Saturday Night matches this year at the Dome: St.Kilda V Western Bulldogs Kangaroos V Sydney St.Kilda V Sydney Carlton V Port Adelaide St.Kilda V Richmond St.Kilda V Hawthorn All started at 7:15pm Thread over.
  3. I gave up hope after the Roos game in round 16, Robbo's 200th, were I thought we were a strong chance. Ordinarily, I'd say we're a huge chance with White playing his 250th. We had big wins when Neitz and Yze both played their 250th. However there is a distinct lack of passion and motivation among the group circa late 2007. There is only about 2 or 3 players that will be prepared to get their hands dirty and crave a win for the big milestone. I do have high hopes of a closer match than the previous 4 weeks, but a win is out of the question. Too many injuries.
  4. and Bigfooty
  5. Might have to cancel the trip over to the Dockland this week then...
  6. Yep go to every Victorian game and the occasional interstate (apart from this year). As soon as I rocked up for the Roos V Dees game (3 weeks ago) I knew we'd lose due to the whopping 2,000 MFC fans that rocked up. Its not good enough! No wonder we cop [censored] from other clubs. Heres hoping for a better turn out this Saturday Night. Make the Dome our home this week! (well it is a home game )
  7. Congratulations to Jeff. Lets hope the players show a bit more respect to this achievement than they did for Robbo's 200th against the Roos in round 16.
  8. They should risk Bate or Sylvia this week. Need someone to kick to at half forward.
  9. Yeah you could make an argument for or against White. Good numbers above. I feel he gets a little unfairly dealt with around here.
  10. Would've said McLean before his untimely injury, but he needs another year or 2. J Mac, Bruce or Green for an interim 1-2 year role. Mclean to be groomed into the role and take it on long term when he's 23- 24.
  11. Its our away game. We won't make a cent.
  12. I put a lazy $10 on the draw. Won $510.
  13. If Davey doesn't make the cut, the MFC should conduct a press conference this afternoon announcing that "We are officially tanking for draft picks. We are not intrested in winning for the rest of the season etc.." My tips for Bench: Moloney, Davey, Newton, Ward (lucky) Bode (debut next week), Jamar (Holland will be the 2nd ruckman like last week) Buckley (had a taste, cya next year). Newton may be in trouble if Robbo gets up.
  14. Why not also rest McLean, Johnstone, Green, Moloney and Bell while were at it Pfft....we've still got 5 games to go. We have to field a side resembling some form of competiveness. Yes we're all looking forward to next year, but as Aaron Davey said this week, we have to go out with a bit of respect and dignity before the seasons out. None of this 90 point crap every week.
  15. Didn't realise Bruce and Sylvia are injured again?
  16. We should wear our red strip in every single away game. Keep up with the times.
  17. Selwood wouldn't be half the player he is if he wasn't sorrounded by quality. Pendlebury had a good start to the season, tapered off lately and will now miss 4-5 weeks which will count against him. Jones will give it a shake. But the odds are in favour of Selwood
  18. Deserves to win the thing. He busts his ass week in-week out in a crap team, while Pendulbury and Selwood are "icing on the cake" players.
  19. Based on this year, I'd have Jones in the top 2 or 3.
  20. Maybe we wore it as Port have a dark colour in their strip - like us. Bit surprised we brought the red strip out, but there is so many other things to worry about at the moment.
  21. Agreed. Clash jumpers are the biggest concern of the MFC at the moment.
  22. What would your reaction be if we actually retained him for next year? Any form of protest? Not renew membership?
  23. Fairly sure Brown is getting a game this week as a farewell AAMI Stadium game for him. He is from SA.
  24. Not bad. Always like a laugh on Friday morning.
