I hope the club comes up with a better suited alternative to Grundy. At his best he’s been a bloody good player and probably still has a lot of good football in him but neither Grundy or Max are good enough as forwards to make that combination work for us in my opinion.

I think it’s about time we started going for the teams we don’t want to win. Feels like all results lately that would have helped us have gone the other way.

I can’t defend everyone else who wasn’t in-their seat but maybe there are a few members like me who took the gamble of buying a second membership with grand final guarantee access. I am also an MCC / MFC member and I find that a much better spot to watch from. I am sitting here thinking we should have won that but at the same time going our forward line is was a mess, just about everyone in the backline were poor and all bar Oliver went missing in the midfield after halftime. Collingwood are playing bloody good football and are one of the two teams I don’t feel confident about beating, Sydney being the other.

This is a very entertaining game but I would rather it not be so entertaining and us have more control over it even though we should be a lot further in front. Oliver’s timing of hitting the ball at clearances looks strangely off, Max if he had kicked straight would be having some game really needs to sort his goal kicking out.

I can understand why anyone being interviewed on SEN might say something like this and it’s actually quite a smart way of making it worth in this case Ed’s time. I mean there’s at best about ten people actually listening to SEN, so say something that’s a bit different maybe a tad controversial and hope one of those ten send it out into social media landscape so your interview is actually listened too.
