Still fuming about how we got cooked last night.

The physicality of the game and the conditions in which it was played made the loss of Tom Sparrow through suspension all the more significant. While the loss of one player likely makes no difference to a result, to what extent would Sparrow have helped us in the clearance contest, around stoppage and giving our mids a rest through rotation during the game.

We are making up the numbers this year. We aren’t anywhere near good enough for a flag. Pathetic effort to play for 10mins of one quarter - we got what we deserved even with the shafting by the umpires.

Umpires are killing this game.

I’m sick of hearing of how good our midfield is when we consistently get beaten in clearances every week.

Assuming Petty plays, is there a role for him as a defensive forward on Aliir?

If we lose the appeal, boo the umpires and the broken system they represent as they come out and at the 2nd minute mark of the 2nd quarter for Roo.

Who should play the inaugural AFL game with the Tassie Devils in 2028 (assuming they get the naming rights)? I think a Demons v Devils affair sounds quite marketable as the ‘Satanic Derby Down Under’!

Had Ballard not been accidentally hit in the head earlier in the game by Pickett’s knee (and allowed to continue by the Suns), I’d be willing to bet he wouldn’t have been injured by JVR trying to spoil. Just saying…

Like the thoughts of the panel on whether Schache would have been a better replacement for BBB than Melksham against Essendon? Josh has kicked 9 goals 3 behinds in his three VFL games this year and offers a lot as a second ruck too. Do you think he is a chance to play against Richmond especially if Gawn doesn’t get up?
