How does Liam Ryan hit a bloke in the head nowhere near the ball and only gets 1 week? Ryan is lucky Bowser is made of tough stuff and played out the rest of the game. Chandler stiff to get 2 for that. Even 1 week would have been too severe. Absolute disgrace!

Yes as an MCC member when you’re paying your dues you get two add-on MFC membership types. One at something like $180 and the other at about $80 dollars to be MCC/MFC members. The $80 version doesn’t give you access to any away games so it’s essentially a donation. I always sign up but only with the $80 version but now that we’re a new force in the AFL and even an MCC membership isn’t a guarantee of a ticket to a GF - may need to see what other member options there are directly with the footy club. Hmmm - I’ll say 69,531.

Anyone else feel that Petracca was stiff not to get the Gary Ayres Medal? McRae had an extra finals game on Petracca (because they came 5th) and only finished 2 points ahead of him. Bit unfair to have it decided by total points and not on a points per game basis.

As mentioned earlier - while I’ve got the premiership edition commemorative jumper, what I really want to get next year is our 2022 jumper with the gold AFL logo. Always been super jealous of the premiers getting to wear that the season after.

This game had it all. The belief we could win in the 1st, the loss of momentum in the 2nd and getting well behind in the 3rd before battering them - I’m still in shock. Wasnt until Langdon slotted his goal from the boundary which put us up by 48 that I knew we had done it. The blitzkrieg of the 3rd and 4th went by so quickly and I was on the phone to my Mum who was at the game in Perth (haven’t seen her in nearly 2 years). No tears but complete and utter contentment and pride of my footy club. Can’t wait to celebrate with all the boys, Demonlanders and all Melbourne supporters at the MCG when we can cheer them on and hear Goody make a speech 😛. All I ever wanted trudging home from belting after belting as a young boy was to go home and watch a Grand Final on replay (in full and colour) - I’ve got what I wanted and I’m so grateful to have it.

I really hope the club produce a documentary of this extraordinary season.

Lazy $400 dropped on merch thus far. DVD set and I’m sure other products will start coming soon now that we’ve won. The first one will be special so [censored] it - I’m going all out. Split between AFL and Demonshop - Cheese board, cap, mask, hoody, stubby holders and premiership jumper.

If we win it's the greatest flag ever. If they win, they beat that team that copped a raw deal. These guys have surprised me this year with their new found mettle; I'm waiting for the real Demons to appear. Love the inflated confidence and feeling hard done by. They bottomed out at the wrong time - chucked the game against Port to guarantee top 4 and then gifted by the umpires their semi final win against the Lions…talk about a raw deal lol give me a break. Can’t see us choking from here and if anything the opposite is more likely…

I in fact think the two weeks suits us. We had a successful two week program leading to us putting the Cats in a spliff whereas the Dogs are going to struggle with the two weeks (even if they get more players back)…their momentum is more in doubt than ours.

Is anyone else sick to death of the media’s narrative that we’re underdone because the Dogs have played 3 games in 4 weeks?
