In terms of amazing games I’ve seen live in no particular order: Eagles v Demons (Round 22) in 2018 Queen’s Birthday v Pies in 2017 QF v Carlton in 2000 EF v Saints in 2006 This game was certainly up there with the King’s Birthday game this season👍🏻

Andy please disregard ‘scraggiest’ in my post 🙄 though it was the scraggiest kind of behaviour from whoever the Lions had on Trac. I think autocorrect changed it instead of showing scragged 😵‍💫

Love your thoughts on the last quarter of Trent Rivers especially his toe poke and drive to win the ball to get it forward after the Viney goal. Did the panel notice how Petracca was being held/scraggiest at almost every stoppage in the second half? He ended up finally getting a free kick but felt the umpires were happy to let this go on for far too long.

Love the panels thoughts on Taj Woewodin’s debut. Taj had several goal assists/involvements and one near miss of his own that looked great off the boot. His hand and foot skills reminded me of the poise of McVee. Personally I’d love to see him get another game against the Lions.

Was willing that Woey goal to go through but will be nicer to have him mail his first at the G. Really impressed with his debut. Hope they keep him in for next week.

Pretty happy that BB is in form and playing at his old stomping ground (he’s kicked 177 goals there). Rate him to kick a few snags!

Don’t often agree with this man but with Docklands I do. It is a [censored] place to watch footy. Went last year to the North game but I usually avoid Docklands and will not be going on Saturday.

I think we’re lucky Membrey is injured. We always get touched up whenever he plays and usually kicks a fair few snags on us.

Willing to bet Fritsch’s injury was just waiting to happen and he was being managed with it from the start of the season.

How good was Hunter’s bump on Hoskin-Elliott in the first quarter? Thought it typified our desire to wrest back momentum in the game and set the tone for what was a physical encounter with the Pies.

Darcy Moore is a pivotal part of Collingwood’s backline and at almost 6 foot 8 he presents an imposing challenge for the Dees on King’s Birthday. While he had a seemingly quiet game against the Blues, is there a case to have Joel Smith play a defensive forward role on Moore?

At this stage in 2022 the Cats were sitting at 7 wins and 4 losses - the same as our record this year. They went on to never lose a game for the rest of the season. Just how important is it for our season to win at least one of our next two? If we lose to both Carlton and Collingwood we’ll be heading into the Bye with 7 wins and 6 losses. Can our season be salvaged if we drop 4 in a row?

Sidebottom massive out for them. All being well they cop a few more injuries against the Eagles. Agree with you Jaded. Soft kills of North and Eagles not great prep for the Pies. Just hope we have Oliver back for the KB game and we rise to the occasion. Anything can happen. I’m just worried that if we lose to the Blues we go 7-5 and then a loss to the Pies is 7-6. Top 4 let alone top 8 looking dicey from 7-6 at the Bye.
