Who should play the inaugural AFL game with the Tassie Devils in 2028 (assuming they get the naming rights)? I think a Demons v Devils affair sounds quite marketable as the ‘Satanic Derby Down Under’!
-
Had Ballard not been accidentally hit in the head earlier in the game by Pickett’s knee (and allowed to continue by the Suns), I’d be willing to bet he wouldn’t have been injured by JVR trying to spoil. Just saying…

Lucky we usually finish strong 💪

A throw set that up 🤦🏻♂️

Take a bow Chandler

Need to tag Rowell

Be nice if the commentators stopped barracking for the Suns 🙄
-
Good pick up! Nibbler must have our tackle of the season to date with that run down of Luke McDonald in our goal square - it was a thing of beauty.

Is there a time and place for handballing along the ground?

Crows (Mufasa FC), thanks for nothing.

First game live of the season and MFCSS is real strong today…
-
So we have no BB and no third tall (Schache) in the forward line. Great 🙄
-
Like the thoughts of the panel on whether Schache would have been a better replacement for BBB than Melksham against Essendon? Josh has kicked 9 goals 3 behinds in his three VFL games this year and offers a lot as a second ruck too. Do you think he is a chance to play against Richmond especially if Gawn doesn’t get up?
-
Get Schache in! 7 goals in the last two games. Bloke is in form.
-
At the very least we need BBB and Lever back plus a hell of a lot of work on our brand. Dimma just given a blueprint on how to put us in a spliff by Scott if he plays talls.

Stealing a living on today’s performance 😒

We got violated by Essendon - it’s peak! Let’s hope we turn up against the Toigs…

100% Plus we play Adelaide Oval very well.

On the above metrics the Dees are vastly over performing in season 2023 compared with 2022 Points For = 32% increase Average Winning Margin = 114% increase These increases in our offensive strength may have impacted our stingy defence with a 24% increase in points against this year but it seems to be well worth it considering we're scoring over 100 points on average per game. Does the panel think this can be attributed to the Dees taking more risks with faster ball movement and using the corridor? Can we sustain this offensive pressure throughout the season proper?
-
At the start of season 2023, the AFL had the Dees with the 7th oldest list in the competition. Against the Swans our under 24 brigade stepped up emphatically and impacted the game in our favour. Petty, Pickett, Spargo, Rivers, van Rooyen, Chandler, McVee, Jordon, Sparrow and Bowey just to name a few are all under the age of 24. Does the panel think that our list has the capacity to emulate the Cats and maintain a sustained period of success?

“Little worrying that if we are to be a top side you probably should’ve be getting touch ups on the big stage. We are spooked I reckon and could be some mental scars. They had no Gawn and Pickett also . Pretty embarrassing” Their pain is real after quite a lot of confidence leading up to the match and probably justifiably so.

Resounding victory. The future is bright when you think of our depth of young blood (23 and unders) stepping up week after week and playing their roles: Pickett, van Rooyen, Sparrow, Jordon, Rivers, Bowey, McVee, Chandler, and Petty.
