    I think the only hope for us Priority Three types is that not all Priority One or Two members registered for the ballot. If that is true, we may get a small look-in.

    Membership numbers are just a phallus measuring contest. It's the $$$$$$$$$$$ from membership that counts and I'm pretty sure West Coast dominate on that front.

    @Grapeviney being nervous until the call from binman came through was pretty much my thinking too. Everything is good now. We got this.

    It's a good strategy long-term too, given the club (and us supporters) expect to be regular finalists in the next few years. It will just part of the routine and nothing too scary.

    Home - just me and the dog, with my phone turned off. Has worked well the last 2 weeks. Relaxed again so no histrionics. Keeps the wife happy when I don't yell, thump the coffee table, break things. Dog doesn't like it much either.

    All very painless really. Being Priority 3 it is no doubt a donation to Ticketek but exciting to be in the ballot nonetheless.

    I don't get the whole fairytale thing. All it does is demean the efforts of the team that are considered to be the fairytale. Carlton winning the flag next year would be a fairytale. We are not.

    No change. Stability is great this time of the season. In 2005 Sydney didn't have a change for about 10 weeks.

    The whole 'fairytale' thing gives me the irrits. It makes it sound like it is rigged for us to win. I wouldn't complain if we do, but I just find it annoying.
