With respect, this only happened a day and a half ago. Emotions are still running high. I have yet to see a post where anyone is saying or even just implying that they’re gonna hold a lifetime grudge against the thug. Posters need to vent, it’s one of the many reasons this site is so successful. Also, I feel you’re insulting the intelligence of many posters with your hypothesis: had Gus KOed the thug in the exact same way, I don’t think DL would be unrealistically defending Gus. After all, from what I’ve seen and read here and from other Dees supporters, JvR was lucky to have received only one week. We’re not all blindly jumping in to say Rooey wasn’t at fault.

Not to mention actively cheering and clapping Maynard every time he went near the ball. Lauding a dirty thug who’s just knocked a player out cold, a player with a history of concussion issues and who was wearing a helmet as a consequence of such. Classy, classy team. 🤮

Last week at our W round one match Razor led the umpires out onto the ground while we were waiting to raise the banner. We gave him a rousing reception, cheering and clapping and calling out “onya Raze!” It wasn’t long before his awww shucks face turned into his this is [censored] awesome face. He was absolutely loving it! 😂

No, both of our finals last year were our home games. Last night was a Collingwood home game as decided by ladder position. On the subject though, their halftime, qtr time and 3qtr time “entertainment “ was as lame as you’ll ever see, especially the stupid “hot pies vs hot chips” thing. Spend some money ffs, CFC.

Nah the title’s ours. You see, most of our stabbings aren’t even reported to police. Only when they result in death or close to death do they make the news, and that’s pretty much a weekly occurrence anyways.

We’ve been warned about this. We’re always told to not engage with opposition supporters during the match, especially Collingwood, Carlton and Richmond. We’re also told to refrain from even looking at them. They sit in the bays on either side of us and of course our noise revs them up. One of our member’s 9yo son wanted to bring a trident with an impaled fake magpie but has been told to absolutely not do so. It’s not worth the risk.
