Make no mistake though we have absolutely been bent over here again. Interesting that Darwin is not allocated to anyone, especially as it was taken off us for Gold Coast. Time to pack it in with the academies. We were denied MAC Andrew, had Darwin as a zone taken off us and given to the Suns and now have the Mornington Peninsula Junior Football league which is a strong competition taken off us and get SFA in return. Good thing we stocked up on smalls in the last draft because we won’t be getting Marcus Prasaad. Equalisation……Bollocks.

Our region is the South East Juniors Comp only which is not a particularly strong competition.St Kilda have now got the Mornington Peninsula Juniors, Frankston and Districts Juniors and a large portion of the South Metro Juniors. Stingrays zone is SEJ, MPJFL, FDJFL.

Looks like Hibbins-Hargreaves is off to the WAFL. Has family over there.

I like it Picket, glad you are on board. I thought you would have been backing up a truck load of manure to dump at the MCG, AAMI Park, Gosch’s, Casey and Caulfield because we didn’t draft a midfielder.

We never played a style conducive to tall forwards. With an attacking game plan and fast ball movement with better disposal into a forward line with structure we will learn about the forwards on our list. I think JVR is set for a break out year in 2026 now that he is not taking the number 1 defender and quick entries into the forward line where he is not constantly outnumbered.

I see this phantom draft and I see Dovaston and Grlj the selections immediately after ours. I feel queasy.

On a side not Melbourne has been reprimanded over its handling of Eden Zanker concussion. GAGF AFL. And have a good look at yourself with your [censored] umpiring and scheduling. Give em Hell Dee’s.

Full credit to the girls and thoroughly deserved. They are great ambassadors for our club. With the outs I thought they were up against it but should have known better than to doubt the character of this team and I won’t so I’m calling it now it’s HOO ROO to the Roo’s.There are not enough superlatives to describe Kate Hore the footballer.

Simply need more from more for longer to get the win. Goldy back is a good in but will miss Zanker and Chaplin again. Can’t rely on Hore to be your main score source and midfield clearance source. Need to win the midfield battle and hope for big games from Harris, Wotherspoon (who has been very good). Gall needs to step up and Bannan needs a rocket for us to be any chance in this one. Hope I’m wrong but I think the crows will be a bit too good in this one.

Hope we go mids this year but next year would love Wil Malady as a forward. Will give King a year to bed in game plan then time to cull forwards that aren’t up to it and find and develop replacements for Melksham and Chekkers.

I hope the club has been on the phone seeking clarity around Zanker’s availability this morning. Obviously her wellbeing is the number one priority especially in light of what happened to the Storm player while on national duty for Tonga.

Be interested to know who our strength and conditioning coach is. Brisbane look yards quicker and covered the ground so much better. We look like we were running in quicksand. Bannan has lost yards of pace. Other players we recruited because of their athletic profile look anything but athletic. In previous seasons we have had speed and could go the distance but were not as physically strong as your Crows, Lions and Roos. Have we focussed on bulking too much. To me we look unfit.

Stinnear needs to even up the numbers in our forward line.

If it’s ANY small forward. The only IF is IF we don’t draft one we are being borderline negligent.
