Happy birthday to every great Demon and supporter who has missed milestone birthdays in Victoria. In a rare oddity my daughter who has a birthday in February got a birthday party the weekend before lockdown 1 and every other kid in her class missed out on their birthday party due to lockdowns and my daughter got a 2nd in a row in February this year. No other kid had one in between. It's the only time ever I hope my daughter doesn't get a Hattrick.

Watching it with family who including myself have all been double vacinated. My daughter who is 7yo hasn't but she can't be. Being going my whole life with them and had to sit through the last to GF's with them. Not worried about a fine I'll win more on my pre season Melbourne bets anyway.

Jack Trengove rang Paul Roos and instigated a meeting with him to beg him to consider coaching us and Roos agreed to meet with him to get the ball rolling. Trengove has played a bigger part in where we are at the moment that what alot of people realise. Great person and Melbourne Football man.

My biggest concern about the game is Bailey Smith has the best mullett and Libba has a better Mo than lever. Other than that I am confident about the result.

Do we know if they are boys or girls? Either way father son or daughter rule. We only started following Kalany White when he was 9 years old. In the embryo is where we should start.

I think when we rate the tagger on Oliver or Petracca they play selfless football and are more of a decoy at the centre bounce. We didn't want Selwood at the centre bounce contests so Oliver just let Petracca and Viney get it without Geelong's best contested footballer near it.

The first game I can really remember was in 1987 when Jim Stynes ran over the the mark and we lost the preliminary final after the siren. When we got back to the car we also had a parking ticket. Dad had the good sense to write a letter saying we were related to Jim Stynes from Ireland and didn't understand the parking restrictions. We got off. My best win is coming this month.

One of the reasons to leave home under lockdown is for care and compassion. I have a family who need that after 57 years.

In 2018 Clayton Oliver was our best player. In 2021 Clayton Oliver is the best player in the league. It's not a one man team we have good players and systems around him but it helps.

I don't think Baker is a fail. You can't play everyone on your list. Baker and Weid will both get 2nd goes at another club after not being able to hold a spot in a near injury free season from the top team in the league.

So has Jayden Hunt fractured his finger like poster were suggesting? Not that it matters you can play with that easy anyway. When I was playing a very low level grade of football my late grandfather who would have turned 100 today on father's day, drove from regional Victoria to watch me play a game. I broke my index finger in the first quarter but played on because he was there. I even took overhead marks after it. The following day I got x-rays and needed surgery because the bone was split down the middle. All the beers I drank probably didn't help with the swelling either. Interested to know if Hunt does have a fractured finger but that won't stop him playing if we want to select him.
