I don't think he shirked it, I thought Max showed that he already knew the answer and wanted to get it out of Goody which was a bit cheeky -

It's ok to be wrong -
Just done some research and it looks like we've never defeated Geelong 3 times in a season. I'm pretty excited to watch the Dees create history on the weekend
-
ah ok, my mistake then. I thought he had gotten over it since he seemed pretty fit when I watched him play in the vfl match at marvel against Casey earlier this year.
-
From memory I believe he was told he had a spot with us as an outside mid/wing and if he wanted to find an inside mid role else where he could, and he chose to go to north
-
Couple weeks early mate, I know were used to having these discussions around this time of year.
-
That was in his first year, he has been fit through 2020-2021.
-
+ Ben Brown
-
I thought he was pretty serviceable when playing with us, especially since he was played as an outside mid and he considered himself an inside mid, hence the move. I am a bit surprised he didn't get to play more games than he did for North. I wonder what went wrong?
-
That might be the case, and if so I wouldn't mind defeating Geelong three times in one year.
-
I think they will still lose to GWS, they are shot
-
I completely agree. I'm sure if he was suspended instead of fined on some of those 21 occasions he would have changed his on field actions. He is a perpetual pest who is 28 years old and should absolutely know better by now, but he thinks he can get away with it and that's the AFL's fault.
-
That was my belief as well.
-
If Toby had avoided making contact with the umpire then they would have not had anything at stake.

You know they say that all men are created equal, but you look at the Dees and you look at Port Adelaide and you can see that statement is not true. See, normally if you go one on one with another Team, you got a 50/50 chance of winning. But the Dees are genetic freaks and we are not normal! So you got a 25%, AT BEST, to beat us. Then you add Geelong to the mix, your chances of winning drastically go down. See the 3 top teams, for the Grand Final got a 33 1/3 chance of winning it, but I, I got a 66 and 2/3 chance of winning, because Geelong KNOWS they can't beat the Dees and they are not even gonna try! So Port Adelaide, you take your 33 1/3 chance, minus our 25% chance and you got an 8 1/3 chance of winning at GF. But then you take our 75% chance of winning, if we was to go one on one, and then add 66 2/3 per cents, we have got 141 2/3 chance of winning a Grand Final. See Port Adelaide, the numbers don't lie, and they spell disaster for you at the Grand Final. #steinermath https://youtu.be/msDuNZyYAIQ

The AFL really have a way of dragging this kinda stuff out hey

Because a lot of the time, the bulldogs are first to the ball. The only real bad free against Cody was the first one. Cody is clearly pulling the Essendon players arm down into his neck for the free. The Draper one was incidental contact but can see why the umpire paid it on first look as it looked like a clothesline from behind. The holding one is there even if it's soft, the Essendon player held him by the jumper and pulled him back then let go. The push in the back on the boundary was a terrible call cos the bump from the other Essendon player is what made contact with him. Thats the umpires fault, not Codys.
-
How do Bulldogs do it?
FritschyBusiness replied to Jumping Jack Clennett's topic in Melbourne Demons
Umpires didn't keep Essendon goalless for an hour. Weightman has played his cards now and the umpires will be onto his antics. He pulled the arm around his neck in the first free and the Draper one he just ran into him. The last one on the boundary was just a bad call from the umpire, it wasn't a push at all. -
6. Oliver 5. Petracca 4. Fritsch 3. Lever 2. Brayshaw 1. May

My mistake AW, you are correct because I quoted the wrong post. When I watched the replay today I realised I was talking about Cameron's second goal but remembered I quoted the third post It is the below goal where Smith looks the wrong way at the wrong time. I like Smith, don't get me wrong I think he is an asset to the team however the best team defence for the year was built with Hunt and Hibberd in the side. I'd rather see one them in for Smith because I believe they have better chemistry in the backline and I think were currently a bit too tall.
-
The most ridiculous thing is he tried to do a kickflip on a bmx. How drunk do you have to be to think a bmx is a skateboard?
-
I wouldn't mind beating the cats for a third time in one year
-
Smith was right next to Cameron and turned the wrong way as Salem handballs it to him. Cameron capitalises because Smith wasn't looking, it was the worst of his mistakes for the night
