Just saw the footage on Fox during 3q time huddle. Petty is clearly annoyed and pushes Zorko a couple of times he is obviously upset. Petty is a cool calm customer but when you say inflammatory things about someone's family and how they can get a procedure done because all the boys have chipped in - it crosses the cross the line. The AFL need to come down on him, he's a captain, an AFL ambassitor and a poor excuse for a footballer. He struck out every time he got tackled. I liked how Gawn ignored him when shaking hands and how Rivers made his displeasure known. To think Zorko is maintaining that Petty misunderstood is shameless.

So he thinks Petty imagined it.

I usually mute the commentary. Listening to Brayshaw and Hodge continually make out that Zorko was a altar boy. Every time he's tackled he has to lash out and remonstrate and lash out. He comes from the Tony Shaw era where you can use say and do anything on the field and then it stays on the field. Then after advisement from a team mate he apologises after the game to appear remorseful and lessen consequences. Heard that Brown twittered that Petty should be embarrassed because he became emotional. The AFL should get tougher, they do with racial vilification, but tolerate unacceptable behaviour such as Zorko's and the countless punches etc that always get downgraded to a fine. They are sending the wrong messages to the youth and lower leagues.

In hindsight Brown would regret saying that. Zorko remonstrates every time he's tackled. He and Brown deserve each other.

We waste so many chances to score goals. Max fiddles with the ball and drops it from too high a position. Don't know why players have to toss the ball around before kicking for goals. Why can't they have a set routine. Do they ever have a dedicated time to practice goal kicking at training as opposed to kicking for fun in competitions with each other. We need to improve our kicking for goal and get the best kicking goal going around otherwise we'll keep losing close games because of our inaccuracy. Strange that there are so many bad kicks in AFL, you'd think they want elite kicks rather than scrubbers who murder the ball.
