I would say 3 to 4 games all last year. Great that Goodwin backed him to the hilt....fringe players would have been wondering how he was even getting a game. His form was pretty horrible most of the year.

Was one of my favourite players, and honestly expected him to keep improving or at least keep up his high standards. Feel like he let us down in the last 3 years....he has been symbolic with so many of our issues, all the while under performing. When he was getting platitudes from Goodwin for a 13 possession game where he tagged someone....made me think the club is actually stuffed atm. What must have other blokes been thinking....especially the fringe ones that seemingly could never get a look in. Wish him all the best, but hope he never gets back to his best....that would be a slap in the face. After all said and done though he went down quite a few notches....and sadly could not even rate him top 10 Demon players. Way he was tracking early on he was headed for top 3. Good luck Clarry, good luck hitting the side of the barn!

Max is the obvious choice....but if he was not captain, would he be be any less of a leader within the group? Geelong took a chance on a Joel Selwood, disregard the age, he had all the qualities needed. Geelong had many options of great players. Really think we need to develop leadership....and the only way to do that is giving someone the responsibility probably a bit before they are entirely ready. Max if not captain, would likely be VC and assisting whoever gets the gig. Honestly just pick a captain that gives good rev up in the huddle at the start of matches and we will be just fine.

Hawks supporting mate reckons he is a jet, that just has not had much continuity due to injuries....says his kicking is not that bad, does run himself into trouble occasionally. With injury free pre season reckons will be a real asset to us. I hope he is right....Welcome CJ

Petracca seems to have a useful player manager in Tom. There have been so few leaks during trade period regarding us. Strange!!

Hmm. Really not sure about him. Had in supercoach team for bit of this year. Watched him much closer. He does some amazing things...but also crazy stuff. Tends to fade in and out of games. Super athletic and has a lot of good traits....needs to work on disposal, and decision making. On that note....should fit right in. Backing King and assistants to round out our players.

Is this the time either Jed Walter, or Ethan Reid decide they seriously want out....or Humphrey have a hissing fit. I reckon this will ruffle players feathers...tbc!

2 years left on contract. Not sold either way....but easily makes our best 22 when fit. Nice disposal skills, high impact player. Would have to consider imo.

I think we would save this selection for Latrelle. This trade period has been pretty bleak so far. Having another Pickett would excite all us. Presume White will go later than that too.

Ah good! At meeting with MFC I am sure they would have devised plan/so to make it happen. Go back to meet with GC and say you are really [censored] unhappy, why am I being held to ransom? And the ball starts rolling. He can say look if I do not get my way this is going to social media. Could see the BH trade happening from the outset. Have not wavered since he was mentioned as a possibility. All this talk of 7 and 8 for a superstar like CP is delusional. Surprised so many are happy with a few picks.

They want Petracca. They want JUH. They want their 3 talented academy kids...2 are top 10, both probably going higher than 7 & 8. We want a player, probably a player and a pick, then they can get all their academy riches. They cannot get all they want, unless we absolutely roll over for picks that we would cover in points for them anyway. It is madness. BH coming into play makes most sense, they simply have to give a player of quality to get it done. They know it too.

Not so sure Oliver is just a kid anymore. Honestly I think it is an indictment on players like Clarry and Petracca not becoming leaders within the club. Lastly I am not sure that a "young" Oliver is any good as a role model for the "actual" younger players on our list. Hence why we trading him, not getting value for money, nor setting standards. Loved him for most of his career, but last few years he has been symptomatic with our fall. Perhaps coincidental, perhaps not!

He could just film himself scrambling some eggs in a super chaotic fashion....and send it to Dimma to read into it however he likes!
