Ah good! At meeting with MFC I am sure they would have devised plan/so to make it happen. Go back to meet with GC and say you are really [censored] unhappy, why am I being held to ransom? And the ball starts rolling. He can say look if I do not get my way this is going to social media. Could see the BH trade happening from the outset. Have not wavered since he was mentioned as a possibility. All this talk of 7 and 8 for a superstar like CP is delusional. Surprised so many are happy with a few picks.

They want Petracca. They want JUH. They want their 3 talented academy kids...2 are top 10, both probably going higher than 7 & 8. We want a player, probably a player and a pick, then they can get all their academy riches. They cannot get all they want, unless we absolutely roll over for picks that we would cover in points for them anyway. It is madness. BH coming into play makes most sense, they simply have to give a player of quality to get it done. They know it too.

Not so sure Oliver is just a kid anymore. Honestly I think it is an indictment on players like Clarry and Petracca not becoming leaders within the club. Lastly I am not sure that a "young" Oliver is any good as a role model for the "actual" younger players on our list. Hence why we trading him, not getting value for money, nor setting standards. Loved him for most of his career, but last few years he has been symptomatic with our fall. Perhaps coincidental, perhaps not!

He could just film himself scrambling some eggs in a super chaotic fashion....and send it to Dimma to read into it however he likes!

Maybe we are not leaking for a change. If we did in fact have 2nd meeting, which seems extremely likely. Surely, we have said this is somewhat how it needs to happen. Go back to GC, and be adamant you want out....not to Hawthorn, or Collingwood, but nominate us...we can give you more. Kick up more of a fuss after you have meeting with them, saying you are homesick, and have been last few years(hence looking around last year too). Gold Coast can then soften their stance and also know that he is key to getting Petracca over the line....especially when we say thanks but no thank you to picks 7 and 8. I actually think Humphrey will be somewhat of a test case, as to what can be achieved through social media, when wanting to move. Expect to see lot more of this in future, which, pushed by manager and player.

For anybody doubting his recruitment, or what we paid... Would strongly advise to watch this 7-8 minutes and reserve your judgements. We should all be rapt by his inclusion. Wants to be a leader too....so much to like.

With no more supersub.... can see him being an important role in our forward line, ruck duties. Welcome Big fella! You will become a cultural figure around here if you bash and crash for us. Good luck!

Partly sure...I get the feeling they are both telling their truth, about their time and experience at MFC though. We should see a lot more skill and excitement in our game next year. Imo we have been effectively racing with blinkers on. Our whole list would be excited, and a bit nervous...on edge....good for football clubs, good for supporters. We got no idea how we are going to go next year...reckon we are in for a fun ride!

Spargo critiques and then hearing what Billings says validates a lot of what us thought. Goodwin was horrible with his transparency, especially fringe players. Plus roles were way too rigid, we took the flare out of players. But then someone like Kozzie/ Petracca get to run around without a care in the world. I look forward to King releasing the shackles on an obviously hampered team. We got plenty of talent, see how they look when allowed to play with freedom.

Interestingly saw Steele compared to Dunkley stats. Very similar across the board. Reckon he will have a real fire lit under him. Annoyed St Kilda captain, good reputation, team player. He would be a good culture replacement guy for Clarrie. We need leaders.

No BH?? How about Anderson/ Rowell then....if they want to get Petracca it will NOT get done with purely picks. Something will give or Petracca will start looking at other trading partners. If they are only prepared to give up Ainsworth I would call their bluff and start negotiating with other clubs.

Just optics to appease their 32 supporters....Humphrey wants to go. $$$ a massive factor! Petracca taking more mid time/forward. I know he is contracted but tough to keep when getting offered a lot more, right now, not in 2 years time.

If Humphrey falls through, it will be Jed Walter....GC have plenty to bargain with here. The constant chatter that we would trade two of our best players for just picks is madness. Club has been clear from start we need an offer that is going to turn "our" heads. All threads are making me feel like am reading straight from some dementia ward where people can only post MFC related things. Bat [censored] crazy.

Personally would be fine with that....both are going to have massive roles through the midfield throughout their careers, with great forward craft, and neither are the finished product. I am bullish to the point that these 2 players will make us an attractive club again. Hope,optimism, skill and excitement. These are elements we been missing for years. Oliver and Petracca have loved them both.... But neither have really made a difference last few years on field, it seems like both have been having more impact in the background. Wish them both the best...they are both likely to improve with change of environment and motivation. If we land Bailey, we will forget about Petracca/Oliver combo so quickly. Kozzie/Humphrey faster, younger, x factor. Get it done Demons, give us hope!

All the posturing is crazy. Can almost guarantee you he is out from GC. Reportedly on 800k atm...he could get as much as 1.5 million from a few Vic clubs. Let me stay at GC for half the wage, whilst bringing in Petracca? Makes no sense...he is out! Vic boy also,....it is a dream scenario for him...here's hoping he sees an incredible opportunity to build a dynamic combination with Kozzie....forward or mid, it really could be exciting!
