  1. The ground is wider on the flanks giving it a more “rectangular” feel than the MCG. I think that maybe where the deception comes in..
  2. It was particularly enjoyable to have one of the modern day genius’ of our game in Brian Taylor commentating today. His astute observation in the second quarter of the courage Lever showed in leaving his man, to approach a marking contest and make a spoil, when Lever wasn’t within cooee of anyone was especially remarkable. Ten seconds later he tells us he “reckons” Max Gawn has been knocked out. This bloke is an hysterical peanut. I like a bit of charisma but Jesus Christ it’s like watching re-runs of the Benny Hill show when Taylor’s commentating!
  3. actual footage of me for the past two and half hours.

    It’s utterly unbelievable.

Deemed overs for both, by many on here at the time...
  6. It’s a no from me. The bloke could easily have cost us three goals in the first half against better opposition on Sunday, through poor dangerous kicks deep in defence. Doesn’t have the composure he used to and throws it on the boot far too often for my liking. I like the guy and think he’s great for the club...would be happy for him to prove me wrong, but think the games passing him by.

Yep, lock it in. Garlett will come in for Spargo. Spargo will be “managed”..
  8. Yes it seems to have had a dramatic effect on Carlton’s chances to make this years finals...who gives a flying facacia after today’s win.
  9. I got so accustomed to the theme of today, I turned away in the last quarter as I drank my pint in the MCC and laughed without a care in the world, like I was a Hawthorn supporter...
  10. The episode is airing in conjunction with the game this Sunday and 8th anniversary of this golden turd nugget.
  11. If we crush Carlton like we did Gold Coast, I’ll be finally ready to admit we have matured and turned the corner... ...until we play Adelaide. Being a Melbourne supporter is just really convoluted...
  12. Doesn’t sound like he did much?
  13. Did Frost play?

Cool your jets there brother. Way better might be going a little far.. I agree Oliver is a gun, but Cripps is a star in a very average side, he will be made captain next year and be a superstar of the competition.

I’d rather he come back to condition himself against Carlton at the G than against Adelaide in Alice Springs.

    Yep. It’s that simple.
  17. We went backwards with a minute to go because we had a 69 point lead.
  18. Pretty sure they were just paying due diligence to make sure he didn’t require an oxygen tent.

Fly Viney up to Qld now and get Tyson off for the rest of his career.

Essendon are disgusting and it’s one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever seen.
  21. His chase down tackles were good last weekend. He is not a natural footballer, he is an athlete turned footballer. In my opinion he needs to work hard from this point on or he could well be left behind. His skills are second rate, his kicking shocking. It’s no good having dash if you just throw it on the boot and turn it over. Youre right, lower the eyes, gain composure and start hitting targets. Bloke kicked one goal with a torp from 65 and appears to think torps are “his thing” ever since. Develop a decent, reliable kick and the ability to side step and I think he’s away..

Talking of runs home, Collingwood’s draw is absolutely comical. With their draw, on current form they will finish with around 14 wins.
