Grand Final tickets pre purchase
we also had 2 weeks from when we got in to when the game was played that year. Depending on your membership level you just got an e-mail saying which level ticket you wanted. i think there is a ballot too.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Good win, yup we switched off in the third. But the rest of the game we were good. Hibbo was fantastic, Viney BOG, Petracca and Oliver did their thing and Rivers was outstanding. Kossie may have looked quiet but look of the ball a bit more, he directly caused at least 4 Hawks turnovers and apparently has one of the highest distance tracked on the GPS(per "round so far"). We lead most of the lead indicators and Hawks never really looked like getting into it. Bring on Port

TRAINING: Friday 12th May, 2023
Exactly Whilst Fritta has been fine this year, i have notice he doesn't look 100% just off a little. Very important to our structure so hopefully just work load management and he will attack the back half of the year full tilt.

Damian Barrett also does this and it drives me insane

They are even worse on radio. Trying to pick up what's happening in the game and they are carrying on so they can listen back to their own voice after. BT does my head in, he tries to drag everyone down to his level and mostly looks like a clown. Dermy just shut up and get to your point!

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Im in the same boat as you. Whilst he is "taking a Def" a Def is taking him. He isn't offering a great deal and he doesn't have proper leading patterns. JVR brings the ball to ground and I think BBB would compliment him well. But, im also not a premiership coach so il trust they know what they are doing!

PREGAME: Rd 09 vs Hawthorn
Please not Smith!!! Why much around with that, bring in BBB or T-Mac, not another player who doesn't have a good forward craft. Salem needs to spend a couple of weeks in the VFL, do some match sim this weekend then 2 VFL games. No need to rush him in, get his body ready to hit the ground at 100% Who goes out for Spargo? Our small fwds are doing ok. Or does he play in the VFL again until his opportunity arises. We are in a good position here, we are resting Trac, Oliver, Gawn and Grundy in games and still getting wins. Need to shut down Sicily and it goes a long way to beating the Hawks.

Take the 4 points a run. Not a good looking game, this is twice now we have had talls hurting us and Petty is up forward doing nothing. Think we have to bring Brown in. And go back to our 3 talls in defence. I'm not sure why we're not. And why Petty wasn't moved to Casboult or Chol is beyond me. Was always a danger game to me and we got the 4 points so get on the plane back to Melb!

PREGAME: Rd 08 vs Gold Coast
Big Danger game, Jump them early like we did against NM. No change unless someone has a niggle. Give Petty a rest and Spargo a run in the VFL for a week. they are both in our B22 i think but petty could do with a rest and unfortunately Spargo just has to go and wait his turn now. Danger players are: Lukosius - Smooth link up player that can catch defenders off goard with his 60m pin point passes, Tall and athletic too, hard match up - Lever would be the right player but Lukosius does go up the ground a lot which lever wont want to follow him. Maybe Rivers. Witts - Just a good hard ruck, hopefully our two can outwork him around the ground Weller - Good running def, think Hibbo is the man for this Anderson - He is class, maybe get Viney to go head to head with him. But our Midfield should get the choccies.

Mitch Georgiades
Yeh very sad for him, he is great talent and woukd be good in any contending side. West Coast will be very hot after this kid I think. And probably Freo too given their fwd problems

Good win, sometimes you need to grind it out. I usually hate umpire bashing because I try take my Red and Blue glasses off but it is hard. But after scrolling through twitter I wasn't alone in thinking it was horrible and sided with Rich. Still some stuff to work out, Petty up fwd is done, only an in game move now. Our back flankers and pockets need to sort out who is going for the tackle or smother, they and May are all sitting back to get the easy kick. Gawn/Grundy can get back to it And Ben Brown is needed to start in that side, can be subbed if not affecting the game, but with Gawn and Grundy he is a threat. More than Melksham anyways

PODCAST: Rd 05 vs Essendon
Very concerning the amount of marks taken 40 out directly in front. Was the defence totally out of sorts. Also we need to practice hanballing more, to often we are making easy handballs hit the deck or handballing to someone that is "hot". Has been consistent since rd 2. Only a few that get a pass mark from today, which means the team was off, but that is twice now. This can't become a reoccurring issue!

PODCAST: Rd 04 vs West Coast
That game was a hard watch. But did what we needed and the overpower the Eagles. I think Petty showed that although he was drafted as a forward, he has lost all forward craft. He has no leading patterns and looks uncomfortable being in front in marking contests, fine to swing fwd in games but I don't thing we can play him as a permanent forward. Agree or should we persist with him?

PREGAME: Rd 04 vs West Coast
As soon as he did that i thought the same thing, hopefully its just a fine. I don't wan't to sound as if we have chalked up the win but dont fly BB to WA, not needed so only change for me is: IN: Kossie Out: Brown I also think Sparrow might have to lift his game a bit, i know he is playing his part but Brayshaw, JJ, Pickett and Rivers can also play that part.
