  1. 40% disp, not very good. ,mind you not alone in the small fwd department
  2. That was an insipid display. fwd entries were horrible, Lever dropped everything that came to him, we missed at least 5 goals from pretty much directly in front. and our hand balling needs to be looked at, either handball 2-3 to many times or we put the ball in the air so our team mate get crunched. And my biggest pet peeve was the amount of times we "carelled" a player and the stop and just ran inside unhindered. Goodwin has an important month ahead, needs to do some work.
  3. I'm not a Boo'r, but have no problem with people doing it, he left the club after 3 years. sure he went home, but it was the $$ that got him there. wasted draft pick and resources on him, they drafted him knowing what he could become and him leaving would have changed the whole recruiting method. Don't care really if people Boo him but some people saying we should applaud him instead is ridiculous !
  4. 70s is Low TOG for key position players. So id say they are managing him and he may even have a week off at some stage
  5. Yes which is were we went wrong last yr, as well as a couple of injuries.
  6. I have no idea, but have a sneaky suspicion they are managing his loads for the secon half of the year. would like to know what his time on ground looks like each game in the VFL
  7. JJ is one of my favorites but it is a player we can afford to lose. and it is apparent he doesn't have the game style that goody and the team want. He is a real in and under midfielder and unfortunately with Oliver, Viney, Trac and Sparrow and even Brayshaw he is to far down the order to be able to play the role he is best at. I'd love to see him thrive and if it's at another club then so be it, as long as its not the Dogs, Coll, Ess or Carl!
  8. No, he isn't very good as a fwd. he is ok as a ruck but again not that great. we have 5 fwds that are as good as him.
  9. Correct, although IMO he is the only one that gets to stay in
  10. Out: Oliver, Hunter, ANB In: Sparrow, Harmes, JJ Brashaw into the middle, JJ onto the Wing and Harmes onto the HFF as a mid rotation with Brayshaw, Viney, Trac, Sparrow and Rivers.
  11. Interested to here @binman's take on our small fwds. As I know he loves all of our small fwds. I think we are playing 1 to many, and they are thinking each other will put pressure on and then no one does. All three (Spargo, Kossie and ANB) clock up the KMs and each have something to give. ANB - endurance, Kossie - goal kicking and speed, Spargo - ball use. ANB and Kossie had shocking games on the weekend in a game where the ball spent more time on the deck. No Oliver for a while I think one of those small fwds need to be a midfielder, weather that is a Harmes, Laurie, JJ or someone else maybe.
  12. We need to go to the umpiring department and ask for a please explain! Max and Grundy get blocked, geld and pushed in ruck contests all the time, usually against the 2nd ruck or fwd ruck and it never gets called. I seriously thing they believe that because it's not an actual ruckman they can do what they want to win the Tap
  13. Awesome, thanks for that. Very I interesting that they are printed with the queen on them. Could become valuable in years to come!
  14. Gus is such a good speaker. Petracca is on 360 again tonight too i think
  15. In: T-Mac, Jordon into the 22, i would like to see Howes or Laurie as sub but think it will be Melksham Out: Petty, Sparrow
  16. I can't believe how many people look to smith, he will get gobbled up at AFL level (again). This could be a blessing in disguise, who ever comes in should get this 4 block period to nail that spot. Hopefully they lock it in and petty can return to def, i really think we are missing him back there.
  17. we also had 2 weeks from when we got in to when the game was played that year. Depending on your membership level you just got an e-mail saying which level ticket you wanted. i think there is a ballot too.
  18. 6. Viney 5. Trac 4. Clarry 3. Hibbo 2. Rivers 1. Brayshaw
  19. Good win, yup we switched off in the third. But the rest of the game we were good. Hibbo was fantastic, Viney BOG, Petracca and Oliver did their thing and Rivers was outstanding. Kossie may have looked quiet but look of the ball a bit more, he directly caused at least 4 Hawks turnovers and apparently has one of the highest distance tracked on the GPS(per "round so far"). We lead most of the lead indicators and Hawks never really looked like getting into it. Bring on Port
  20. Exactly Whilst Fritta has been fine this year, i have notice he doesn't look 100% just off a little. Very important to our structure so hopefully just work load management and he will attack the back half of the year full tilt.
  21. Damian Barrett also does this and it drives me insane
  22. They are even worse on radio. Trying to pick up what's happening in the game and they are carrying on so they can listen back to their own voice after. BT does my head in, he tries to drag everyone down to his level and mostly looks like a clown. Dermy just shut up and get to your point!
  23. Im in the same boat as you. Whilst he is "taking a Def" a Def is taking him. He isn't offering a great deal and he doesn't have proper leading patterns. JVR brings the ball to ground and I think BBB would compliment him well. But, im also not a premiership coach so il trust they know what they are doing!
  24. Please not Smith!!! Why much around with that, bring in BBB or T-Mac, not another player who doesn't have a good forward craft. Salem needs to spend a couple of weeks in the VFL, do some match sim this weekend then 2 VFL games. No need to rush him in, get his body ready to hit the ground at 100% Who goes out for Spargo? Our small fwds are doing ok. Or does he play in the VFL again until his opportunity arises. We are in a good position here, we are resting Trac, Oliver, Gawn and Grundy in games and still getting wins. Need to shut down Sicily and it goes a long way to beating the Hawks.
  25. And we are 8-2. This is now
