Just noting the new deal being touted is an improved offer from GC...adding pick28 in a weak draft for their 2026 1st... (for the MFC always bend over brigade)

I can think of 500,000 reasons per year why he'd pick Melbourne over Hawthorn.
-
Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
You'd ask them to come to Melbourne -where it could be for any number of reasons. He wants the column inches and to put pressure on the MFC to trade.

Farewell Judd McVee
I mean they aren't going to offer us pick 11 for Judd and obviously we take it if they do.

POSTGAME: Rd 24 vs Collingwood
Plenty of positives from the game. Harvey Langford is a gun. Great game. Rivers worked into it well. Gawn an 8th AA. Well done big fella. Slowly and surely Oliver is starting to ook fitter and more dynamic. Interesting times ahead. On the other hand there's Harry Sharp, May's entire Q1 and his Q4 clanger. Loved Kossies goal but generally quiet again and Salem just cannot run in transition. Gets burned every time.

Might aswell sub pickett. Walking everywhere.

Trade Targets
The point is he's potentially the type of player someone might offer overs for. As his best stuff is elite, as is his recent form. Unfortunately he picks and chooses. We should have a price in mind and if we get offered that snap deal. If we don't then we keep a guy who on his day is a gun. Demonland only wants to move on players that are worth 0 to the market.

May to Tribunal
Perhaps you could describe it as "Careless"?

May to Tribunal
Came on here to say the exact same thing. Nailed it @titan_uranus

Simon Goodwin Sacked
Morris's payment to say thanks for the leak?

Welcome to Demonland: Brody Mihocek
Respected him hugely over the journey but you couldn't guarantee he'd put the same effort in for us - especially if they win flag this year. Great player but I'd pass and go for someone younger with something to prove.

Selwyn Griffiths
Easy to prevent muscle injuries when they don't train hard enough.

Time to start a rebuild?
Im hoping for 5 more weeks from Fritsch as good as his last 2 then looking to trade him while his stocks are high. Picks and chooses.

May to Tribunal
Alex Pearce got off - watching the Sunday footy show that looks MILES worse/more avoidable

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Im fine for May to cop something under 'Brayshaw' ruling and the small brace / lift of the arm. It's closer to 0 than 6. Ultimately - both players attacked the ball in identical fashion, and vossy praising the Carlton player. Can't say he did everything right and May everything wrong simultaneously.

The DeeBrief boys having a very Honest Deep Dive
Some horrific superiority complexes here. Some very passionate dees fans doing what they love. Provide content (invaluable for overseas fans like myself) for basically $0. Pile on is unnecessary. If any of the guys are reading - keep being authentic. I love your work as much as I love Andy, George and Binman. Don't have to agree to appreciate 👏 👏 👏

The List Manager Tim Lamb
Cant decide who you are going to trade unless you know what is offered. Im keeping Lever unless I'm offered huge overs - may and tmac are out the door soon, you need some experience and on field coaching. Salem - id be moving him on for whatever we can get, just don't need him with Bowey and McVee. Hard to see a taker Rivers - want to keep but happy to hear an offer. Langdon - if can get a 2nd rounder I'm moving on Sparrow - presumably on a low salary and an honest trier, worth keeping if so Petracca/Viney/Oliver - atleast 1 needs to move on. It won't be Viney as noone will take him. Petracca - can we get an early 1st + 2nd? If so I'm dealing and that'd be my preference. If we can't, id be phoning Geelong and getting a pick for Oliver even for half his salary. Saves $850k a year from a horrible contract. (Fwiw I think the club have accepted they are shifting one of Trac/Oliver to cover Koz) Petty - worth nothing currently and noone will take him. JvR - stock is very low currently and until this year, showed great signs. Keep. Chandler - keep, great little role player and clubman, wont ever be offered anything matching his worth. Spargo - obviously you're taking a 2nd rounder, but is it worth taking a 3rd? Probably not. The rest of our VFL/Old Brigade are worth 0 apart from Gawn. I think we are unfortunately somewhat stuck with what we've got. We really need to have a great end to the season to increase the trade value of some of our assets (particularly trac/oliver) P.S. "look how brave Collingwood were" is a furphy. We cant compare ourselves to them. Gifted two top 5 draftees in Daicos/Daicos. Every free agent wants to go there and happy to take unders - exactly opposite of what we are confronted with at the trade table.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Yes I think this is right. He's escaped criticism because Turner has been great. But the gap between Petty and Turner as fwds is more significant than the gap between TMac and Turner as defenders. Looks like we won most the key stats. Just hoping for another xScore win @WheeloRatings

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
11:11 remaining on the Fox Footy clock in Q2. Cops a disgusting swinging cheap shot from Port number 44. Before another one 50 seconds later from Butters. Amazed he was allowed to continue. Clearly out cold.

POSTGAME: Rd 14 vs Port Adelaide
Kozzie sniped out of it changed the game Much like what they've done to Max years gone by Looked to be lying out cold about a minute before the Butters snipe. Obviously no replays or mentions on comms.

Would have been nice to have gone down having a red hot crack but looks like we've chosen to give up instead. Ho hum.
