So, what do we have, ex-player dressed in women's... being arrested for stalking... hmmn. Is it possible he's in a former girlfriends dress, undercover; spying on another women of interest to him.?

Do you want to win the premiership?
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Wrecker45's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yes, sooner rather than later. But I want to win a True Premiership Cup. Not some tiddly-winks thing, that will be treated as some sort of joke. I might be desperate for a Cup, but I'm not that cheap. -
Well the answer is simple, Cops have to put their fellow, "dirt-bag" coppers in... when they do they wrong thing by the public. Its the same as the priests who turn the other cheek and keep silent, when they here of paedophilia acts by other priests against the vulnerable. Clean out your own area, and enjoy the respect. IF you don't, then you earn the ill feelings.

Victoria Police suspends officer over leaked photos of former AFL coach Dean Laidley in police station Posted 20 hours ago, updated 2 hours ago https://www.abc.net.au/news/2020-05-04/dean-laidley-former-north-melbourne-coach-in-custody-stalking/12210590 Victoria Police has suspended an officer over an "appalling" privacy breach after he allegedly shared unauthorised images of former AFL coach Dean Laidley in custody inside a police station. Victoria Police Deputy Commissioner Shane Patton said it was expected the officer would also be hit with criminal charges over the incident. The photos were taken of former North Melbourne AFL coach Dean Laidley, who was remanded in custody over the weekend on allegations of stalking as well as other charges. The 53-year-old from Moonee Ponds was arrested on Saturday night after an incident outside a St Kilda home about 9:00pm. The 1996 North Melbourne premiership player faced Melbourne Magistrates' Court on Sunday. The father of three did not apply for bail and remained in custody on Sunday evening. Your Top 5 Demons Players of All Time
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Craig Drinker's topic in Melbourne Demons
Flower, Lyon, Schwarz, Neitz, RdBarassi... of course. Jedda Healey would have made a good backup #3, but sadly, I see him more as a Swan than a Dee, these days. -
Fixture Throwback: Rd 13 2014 vs Essendon
MyFavouriteMartian replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
Why do you say "contested ball winners" How about "culture", 'RM'.? And ability to train and stay fit to a high level. And commitment to club first attitudes.? -
An interesting way for a player to get out of a club; in order to get to another club, of choice.?
-
But what does it mean... mean! Or does it mean, anything.?

Large ground; hard on legs. We had much better crowd support, at the 'G'. It helped to make us more positive about our chances.

The epitome of a hard draw for the Dees, that year. The way it paned out. Disappointments, Dees. All the work Barassi and Jordan, Barry Richardson, [censored] Seddon, et al., all did, to rebuild the whole club, only to find out that, 1987, '88, 1990, and other seasons, amounted to not a lot. That that group did not come away with some AFL Silverware, is almost an insult to that group of fine footy folk.

Eagles and Dockers get unfair advantage
MyFavouriteMartian replied to buck_nekkid's topic in Melbourne Demons
shackled together, would be better. -
In hindsight, for him personally, being greedy on his behalf; at least he can hang his hat in future on the fact he as been an AFL captain of the Mfc.

Your right, I did. - - - - - - - I see that >>> The US military has admitted to causing civilian casualties as a result of an air strike in Somalia in February. A statement from US Africa Command said on Monday that two civilians were killed and three injured during the attack. The statement adds that the same attack killed two members of the Islamist militant group, al-Shabab. Amnesty International says the air strike killed a banana farmer and an employee of a telecoms company. "Regrettably two civilians were killed and three others injured in a [23] February 2019 airstrike," said Gen Stephen Townsend, the head of US Africa Command. "We have the highest respect for our Somali friends and we are deeply sorry this occurred," he said. The report claims that the civilians were hurt after munitions stored by the Somali militant group blew up in a secondary explosion. https://www.bbc.com/news/amp/world-us-canada-52443962 - - - - - - al-shabab >>> Al-Shabab means The Youth in Arabic. It emerged as the radical youth wing of Somalia's now-defunct Union of Islamic Courts, which controlled Mogadishu in 2006, before being forced out by Ethiopian forces. There are numerous reports of foreign jihadists going to Somalia to help al-Shabab, from neighbouring countries, as well as the US and Europe. /// Al-Shabab advocates the Saudi-inspired Wahhabi version of Islam, while most Somalis are Sufis. It has imposed a strict version of Sharia in areas under its control, including stoning to death women accused of adultery and amputating the hands of thieves. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-africa-15336689 - - - - - - - - It's alla entwined web of confused theologies. too much for me to go through and learn.

I think it will reinstate as the community footy once again. Even if it goes broke firstly. The local communities will rally behind it. Resurrecting it.
-
'dt'... you must have missed the news on little-rocket man, Kim Jong-Un.? I heard he was firing of ICBM's, over the Sea of Japan.?
-
Yes they will. It will fold back down, and regrow as the community involvement thing it once was.
-
Well, China is marching south thru the Sth China sea, bullying other Sth Asian nations on the seas. And building war facilities, on atolls in the sth china sea. Now we see, Kim Jong-Un's mysterious disappearance, and China sending a medical team in to kill him off, err, save him? I believe the USA is far more transparent, than China is, currently. Apart from the US's involvement in Iraq... and the recent middle east wars.

I recall Trenners trying to put on weight in the Gym and came out bigger, and struggling a little for form from that season. I think this was Pre Navicular injury.

On first looks, this makes a lot more sense, than the AFL taking control of the VFL some years back. Which IMO is a disaster. AFL, ffs, set the VFL independently free, to work their way back into the local communities. The loss of the VFL would be a disaster for footy. The AFL isn't in a war with everyone. It doesn't have to behave like Nth Korea or China. Taking over everything in sight. IF the AFL were ever to collapse, I'd want the VFL still established, to carry on.
