Cox is a spud. The only reason he looks better up forward is because of the quality entries Collingwood produce. Put Cox in Melbourne’s forward line and after he’d wiped my vomit from his eyes he wouldn’t get near it. So please don’t even mention Cox in the same sentence as Max Gawn. It belittles all of us.

I mean the reason we have Gawn, who led us to victory with a game for the ages, fit, fresh and firing is because we have Grundy. Grundy’s done his job and if he can add a goal and a half a game he’ll be worth every cent.

Wow, I just watched the segment on St.Kilda at the start of FC, that's just simply muck raking, nothing more. How does that total hack Hutchy (who looks more and more like a frog every year) get to host a tv show?

At the game it was clear we lifted our intensity mid way through the third. It went goal for goal at the end and then we dominated the last quarter. Game over. What’s impressed me the most the last 2 weeks is the rise of the second tier mids under Viney. Can you see a spot for JJ once Oliver comes back? Has there ever been a more important goal than the one Viney kicked? Do you see Chandler making his way back into the side after his stellar first 10 games?

Club’s done everything right with Grundy. There’s no reason he can’t be a useful forward, leading up to the wings and picking off the opposition’s dump kicks out of defence. Him on one wing, Max on the other. You could also just sit him in the square although I’d prefer that role for Petracca. He’s an AA ruckman, he’s just been told this is your role so if you want to help us win the flag this is what you need to do. The media just want a story. There’s no way Max is going solo for the rest of the year. I said yesterday that I thought Grundy had coasted a bit this year. Over to you Brodes, show us what you’ve got. The umpiring isn’t some conspiracy against certain clubs, that’s absurd. The general standard is quite poor though. I think the AFL needs to invest heavily in umpiring but that seems unlikely. I find the inconsistencies across a season head scratching.
